This has all the gaskets, seals and filters you’ll need to rebuild your Edelbrock 1406 (600 CFM) carb. Unless you’re changing your metering rods or your floats are bad, you’ve got everything you need.

So far so good. Included all the parts. Tolerances seemed okay. I've heard stories of parts not fitting quite right with the cheaper kits so I figured it was worth the extra few bucks to get the Edelbrock kit.

I spent the extra money to get the manufacture kit for the quality including instructions. The kit came with a new accelerator rubber but reuses the pump shaft. The original shaft was warn out and I needed to order a complete pump. I would prefer to pay a little more for a kit that includes a complete pump. Other than that the kit was great. A cheap kit may work but I don’t like doing the same job twice.

after reading many of the aftermarket parts reviews, it seemed worth the extra cost to get the Factory Original parts. The amount of time invested to remove, clean, replace the parts, recalibrate the settings, etc in not worth the savings of the cheaper parts.

I know it's just a rebuild kit but THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! This kit worked great. My pony truck has been bucking and sputtering like crazy for a while now and this cleared up all my major issues finally putting me in a situation where I can start fine tuning it. Smells better, sounds better, and definitely runs better. Doesn't come with metering springs so that will be my next fine tuning purchase. Also Doesn't come with floats but I don't like to replace my floats if I don't have to and mine were in great shape still just make sure to check your floats for leaks before reusing them. Don't get the off brand rebuild kits. These are worth the extra $25

When you're looking to rebuild your Edelbrock carburetor, I know it might be tempting to try and get one of those cheaper kits but trust me it's worth the extra money to get it straight from Edelbrock. All parts fit perfectly, and the gaskets are good quality. I used this kit on a manual choke 1405 600cfm. Bottom line there are some things you can cut corners on to save pennies. Your fuel system is not one of them. My car hasn't fired up without pumping the gas in years. Very satisfied.

on Amazon I have found find suitable, high quality, less expensive substitutes for Nikon camera accessories and suitable but as expensive non-OEM accessories for my Green Works grass trimmer which I did not buy, and I found way less expensive unbranded third party substitute parts on Amazon for my Edelbrock carburetor. Unfortunately ALL OF THE third party, cheap parts for Edelbrock carbs are apparently of inferior quality if their reviews are true.The reviews say the third party rebuild kits and other parts are missing parts and have parts that don't fit. My Performer series carb, new, now costs over $400 . I bought mine in 1996 for $200. It's lasted this long, so I didn't mind spending about $150 on it for GENUINE Edelbrock parts. In addition to this part, which I lost, I got the rebuild kit, and the rod,jet and spring kit on Amazon .I put the rebuild kit in and checked for leaks and reset my float heights and it still ran bad. So I obtained other Genuine Edelbrock parts for my carb from other shops including step-up pistons, idle screws, a step up spring kit and the rods and jets that were installed in my carb that don't come with the rod and jet kit. After Everything was installed, my truck was running fine again, for like 5 mi8nutes until I got a bad load of gas from BP which I will NEVR buy gas from again as long as I live, because that wasn't the first time. BPs premium gas is water and rust laden garbage At every station in the area.
