Holding one up unfolded, I can see through it and get detail on the objects I am viewing on the other side of the towel. I don't think they will hold up well over a long period of time. I deducted two stars for this as they did not look this thin in the pictures. I would have deducted three stars but the low price for four of them balanced this out a tiny bit.* The listing is misleading. The title says four towels and the picture shows four towels, but the price calculation assumes there are six towels and lists the price as $3 per towel. This might be a mistake so I didn't deduct stars, but I can't stand when sellers pull this stuff to make their items seem like a better deal. PositivesThese are brightly-colored, large beach towels. I'm 6'3", and these are big enough for me. The colors are bright and are pleasant to look at. Very beach-y. And my wife likes them. I guess the tassels are fine if you like that sort of thing. I could do without them, to be honest, but my wife and daughter like them. They are soft, and they don't have a bad or toxic smell like some fabrics can when you take them out of a vacuum sealed bag. We just put in a small pool, so these will be nice to have as extra towels to keep out there.NegativesThese are super thin. I can't see these being very absorbent when you get out of the water and are soaking wet. And when I say thin, I mean very thin. I've probably used shop paper towels that are thicker than these. There are also loose threads on some of them and that doesn't bode well for longevity.All in all, nice looking towels, but if you are looking for quality and something to absorb water, might look elsewhere.
