This item is listed as a 'linking cord.' I assumed this was to link multiple lights together (which is what I need to do). What is in the package is a 5 foot power cord for powering a single light via a two prong outlet. This is not of any use to me and I shall return it.

This is a power cord, not a linking cord. I checked the manufacturers part number to be sure. I wanted a power cord, so this worked out for me. Some of the other reviews said it was a power cord too. Amazon needs to correct the description.

I received both yes and no answers to my question as to whether this item is a linking or a power cord for GE Slim Line 23in Under Counter Light. Pulled the trigger, received product and it's a POWER CORD. Jasco, the manufacturer sells the correct LINKING CORD. PART # 30570. 60 inch Linking Cord.

Picture shown is a 2 pin to 3 pin connector cord which you need to connect Enbrighten lights to each other. What is sent to you is an ac power cord with a 3pin connector. The only other option on Amazon is a 120" cord. I need a 2 to 3 pin connector cord about 6 - 12"

This is NOT a linking cord, it is a 5' power cord as shown in the very last picture.
