This jacket is made poorly. The zipper to the inner jacket broke on day 1. The wrist Velcro came unstitched in a week. The inside Velcro tabs that keep the inside liner in place under the outer shell ripped off on day 2.

I bought this jacket so I didn't have to wear my work jacket. The first time I used it, it was in the teens and windy. I was going ice fishing and I was too hot in both shells. I took off the outer layer and was plenty warm until I got my shelter and heaters up. Its comfy and goes well with my snow pants.

Headline says it all. I would've rather given it 4.5 or 4.75 stars. It keeps me warm, keeps me dry from light rain and snow, and has a nice hood for when I don't need an umbrella. Only real issue I have is that the red flap inside the jacket covering the zipper connecting the outer and inner layers can easily get stuck in the zipper if you're not careful.

I got this coat for the occasional times I do outdoor winter activities. I am just a regular dad that needs a winter coat for the occasional activities that I do out in the snow. So by no means an avid skier but two to three times a winter I need a snow coat. This coat checked a lot of boxes but two reasons I am sending it back and getting a different product. First off is the stitching around the Velcro. I only used this coat twice and the Velcro on the front ripped off. This is sad because overall the coat is very well made. They just should not of cut corners on the Velcro that is used all the time when take the coat off and on. The second reason is breathability. I went snowboarding in this coat and it did amazingly well at keeping me warm and dry from the snow. 5 stars on that. But it did such a good job that I was sweltering inside the coat while snowboarding and being active. So if you need a really warm coat to just be outside and walking around then this is perfect. I didn't even have the inner layer and it was plenty warm. So I want to like this coat and want to rate higher but ultimately Its Velcro failed this second time of use and was way to warm for what I intend to use. Also, I normally wear and xxl but had to send the first one back because and xxl is very large. I'm 5'10" 250lbs. Hope this helps.

I needed a kick around coat for NEPA winters and this is perfect. The shell is excellent for snow and wind reflection. I even removed the liner once because it warmed up a lot one day and I only needed the puffy jacket. I will probably buy another one while they are still available just to put in the closet until I need it.

Moving to Colorado meant all my “winter” clothes had to be replaced w/ real stuff.After some study, I kept coming back to this one: windproof & waterproof shell, removable liner, it’s reasonably-priced & shipped fast.Happy to say it lives up to my needs & expectations: the liner is *easily* removable, replaceable, & reversible; the shell is indeed windproof & insulated; the combination has me comfortable in high winds, blowing snow & sub-zero tempsI’ve gone over the coat carefully, and the seams, loops, buttons, snaps, etc are nicely done: nothing ragged, no loose threads or missed hems. Looks like it will last longer than I will!A word about the fit: site kept urging me to get an XXL, and I do get those ‘cause I’m a big guy, but I had a feeling…the XL I ordered fits me perfectly @6’2”/188#, w/ freedom of movement & room for layers of clothing inside, so make sure of your size!I think it looks good, too
