I am incredibly happy with this Adjustable Inspection Lamp! Although it’s designed for jewelry, it has proven to be wonderfully versatile in my home. Whether I'm engaged in late-night sewing sessions or studying my CPT code book, this lamp has been a game-changer.The clarity it provides is exceptional; I can see all the details without straining my eyes. The selection of light tones and brightness levels is a fantastic feature, allowing me to customize the lighting to suit my needs perfectly.It's also a great value for the money and very easy to use. I only wish I had discovered this lamp sooner. It's a must-have for anyone in need of a reliable, adjustable light source. Highly recommended!

Finally I can see all my jewelry in detail when choosing what to wear. I thought I would only use it for close examination, but I use it every single day. It's on a high table where I keep my extensive collection displayed for easy selection, and when I'm not using it for that purpose it can simply add to the lighting ambiance of the room. Huge selection of light tones and brightness! I should have bought this long ago.

PERFECT FUNCTIONAL LIGHT FOR A DESK, READING, PHOTOGRAPHY: EXCELLENT DESIGN, HEAVY, SLEEKI've owned several LED lights as a commercial photographer, and this is one of the best desk lights I've seen for having a single light in a dark room for editing in my studio, a short product review, or just having a light, in general, working on small items that require precision parts.The USB port is a great option, so you can put your phone there, which is a nice touch.What would've been better is a wireless charging pad to charge your iPhone and AirPods.My only complaint about this light is that it should be slightly brighter: 15W. Considering how big the light's surface is, 15W would be perfect.Another nice aspect would've been removing the white cover to expose the LEDs for a slightly brighter light.I've shot a few small product reviews with my iPhone, and this is my crucial light; it's been great.The overall design is phenomenal and very easy to use.This is great if you're looking for a light to use on your desk while working on parts or need a light for reading.

I'll preface this review that I am not in the target market for this lamp. I am not a jeweler or work with precious stones all the time, but I am a photographer/videographer so seeing a light that advertised color accuracy made me jump on wanting to review it for Vine. If you are a jeweler, I believe you will find value in this review.The GemOro lamp is decently built. It has a articulating goose head that tilts up and down so you can either stand it straight up, or go front or back with it. You can also rotate is 180 degrees from the base, but it can't be adjusted at the lamp other than the up and down tilt with the goose neck.The base of the lamp has a nice weight to it, very nice actually. It's low profile makes it unobtrusive, but this thing isn't going to fall unless you push it really really hard. Sadly, what I didn't like is the lamp hinge itself is made up of plastic, and it's feels like a cheaper plastic also. I put up a photo of the plastic hinge. I feel if the lamp were to take an errant fall, this will be where it breaks. A barrel jack power cord plugs into the back, and the lamp has a fairly weak USB port on the side. Being this is 2024 and with the cost of this lamp ($90), it would of been nice to see wireless charging or at least 20wPD built into the light.The lamp itself functions very well. The touch sensor buttons respond very well, and it was very easy to turn on/off, adjust brightness, and adjust mode. I was very pleased with this light, as I have a few other touch capacitive lights from Amazon and they aren't as responsive and nice as this one. The light is also very quick to react, there isn't a lag or anything when you press the button. The light smoothly transitions to different brightness levels. This lamp works in steps and there isn't any fine tuning, you just have to use it at whatever step each power level or color temp there is. It's important to note that you can ONLY use this lamp at each of the four temp modes, which GemOro labels as Diamond (5200k), Gemstones (2700k), Pearls (4000k), and Jewelry Enhancement (6200k).Talking about color temp. While I'm not a jeweler, my photography background does let me test if the lamp is actually accurate at each color temp. Using a grey card and a color wheel, making sure the lamp was the only light source in the room, the lamp was actually pretty accurate for each color temperature. I can't attest if 5200k does actually make Diamonds look better, but the lamp is actually running at 5200k. So if you are looking at this lamp because of these color values helping your Jewelry business, the color temp values are just fine.Overall at $90 the lamp feels like it should do more, but it might be exactly just what a Jeweler wants for their business. It has accurate color temperature, it's very easy to use, it has an easily adjustable goose neck, and while the plastic hinge portion could be better the overall construction isn't bad. Just how easy the lamp is to use, and how it just works speaks to me as a business owner who sometimes just wants something that works and don't have to worry about it anymore. As someone who doesn't do own a jewelry store though, and wouldn't put this as a tax write off, I wish this light had a little more for that price. Wireless or PD charging, the ability to micro adjust white balance modes and power level, and a metal hinge where it connects to the base would be starters on how to make this light a little better and in line with a product released in 2024.
