I left my last pen open, which will ruin it. I bought this one, calibrated my gemoro and it's now working perfectly again. To keep the pen lasting longer, it's best to put the cap on tightly, and I also store it in an air tight baggie that it came in. Leaving it open will cause it to dry out and stop working. Which I again proved to myself.

Purchased this as a backup to the one that cane with the machine to test gold. The original was good for 5000 tests and as was new and wanted to test everything thought it smart to buy a backup.This replacement has actually been better.than the original.
