The GellyGrippers do not work on the GelPro Decorative foam backed rugs or runners. I ordered them together and would have thought that the company would mention that these are not companion products. If you have something with a smooth surface the grippers are fantastic so I was able to use them.

They stick like glue to the finished wood floor. However they did not stick to the kitchen runner made out molded foam. They do stick to everything else.

I got this for my wool desk mat - it does not stick at all. I gave it to someone else with a non-wool desk mat, and it works for them perfectly. So buyer beware - wont work on everything. 4 stars because it does what it's supposed to, but wish it indicated that it might not work on every surface.

You will need to periodically wash them; as dust, dirt and pet hair stop them from staying put on the porcelain tiled kitchen floor. But they kept the mat in place, at first.

i have several runners that always move around on the floor. When I found the GelPro Gelly gripper I thought perfect solution.So they do work but only for a few days to a week tops and then they start to slip. And when they slip they collect dust and then don't work at all! You can peel them off the floor, wash them off and reuse them the process of cleaning them every week is non sense.I wish I could return the several packages I bought, not worth the money or your time.

These suck. I bought a gel pro mat that slides on my hardwood floors. Because of the good reviews I bought these grippy things to help. They don't work at all, see photo. I think I'm more frustrated than before because I bought something that should work. Grrr. I just bought some grip cote stuff that you are supposed to paint on the back of the mat to help. We'll see. Otherwise, the mat was a waste of $275 since every single time I walk on it it slides across the floor.

I got these gel grippers for the sole purpose of keeping the rug attached to the hardwood floor after the product I had used before (which worked) left residue on the floor the size of the rug. I figured if these worked, the worst they could do is leave residue in 4 smaller circles on the floor.However, it turns out these do not work. They seem to stick to the floor but do not stick to the bottom of the rug. I recently had the rugs deep cleaned, so it's not an issue of the rugs being unclean. They just did not work on this standard rug.

What a little gem these are!! I have tried all of the various methods out there to keep area rugs in place. With two big dogs, this task is not easy. These GellyGrippers are unassumingly effective and durable. I had my doubts initially as I have tried rug mats, peel and stick pads and tapes with little success. These actually work. Over time the rugs with the most traffic in my house can shift a bit and need to be repositioned (two active German Shepherds put these to the test). To reset the rug with the Gelly Grippers I simply peel up these little guys from the floor, rinse them with water and a drop of dish soap, let them dry and they are like new. I have used them on hardwood floors, cement and tile with no damage to the floor or rug. I’m glad I gave these a try and have been pleasantly surprised at how effective and affordable these are.
