INSTRUCTION
STEP 01:
Apply your preferred paint—whether it's acrylic, watercolor, or alcohol ink—onto the gel plate.
STEP 02:
Spread out the paint using a brayer.
STEP 03:
Ensure the paint is spread into a thin, even layer for best results.
Feel free to enhance your design by adding different colors and textures with tools like stencils, leaves, and other crafting supplies for a creative and dynamic finish.
STEP 04:
Place your printmaking paper or fabric over your artwork on the gel plate.
STEP 05:
Transfer the design onto the paper by pressing it with your hands, making sure to apply firm pressure evenly across the entire surface.
Allow the paper to rest on the gel plate for a brief moment to ensure the design transfers fully.
STEP 06:
Gently lift the paper from the gel plate to reveal your stunning piece of artwork.

It lays good and flat so it’s easy to make your patterns. It’s great to clean up. I don’t always clean mine. I like that multiplication of colors. I am enjoying it.

I recently got my hands on the GELELF Gel Printing Plate, and let me just say, WOW! From the moment I opened the package, I liked the sturdy cardboard box that keeps the plate protected. But the real magic happens when you start printing. The magazine image transfer technique worked super well and the result is really clear—better than I expected! I’ve been having a blast experimenting with different mediums, from acrylics to alcohol inks, and the results have been stunning. The plate handles it all with ease, and despite my initial worries, it’s stayed crystal clear with no stains, even after heavy use. Plus, it’s a great deal—cheaper than other big brands without sacrificing quality. Whether I’m framing my prints, adding them to my portfolio, or cutting them up for collages, the possibilities are endless. I also appreciate how easy it is to clean and maintain—just a quick wipe with baby wipes or a little hand sanitizer, and it’s good as new.（it will be easier to clean right after you finish printing before the paint gets too dry) If you’re into mixed media or just love trying new techniques, this gel plate would be a great addition. Highly recommend!

I wanted to try this brand of gel plate out, heard it was better for transfers, but as soon as it came I was sadly disappointed 😢. Opened the package, I ordered the 8” round plate, started to peel back the plastic cover and nothing happened 😲! I rotated the plate pulled again, the cover was NOT coming off. I began return protocol and I had to contact the company, I did not like that idea, but nevertheless I emailed them and to my surprise it was very pleasant. I took a picture of the package, took a picture of me trying to take the cover off and gave them a proof of purchase. They were very kind, very understanding and totally kept me in the loop. About a day or two I was informed they sent a new plate to me and as well as a please forgive us gift, a free roller. In a few days I got them the package with a beautiful new plate, a roller and a small round plate as well.The plate works wonderfully and the return process was painless. Great company, great gel plate!

This plate is thicker than the other brand , works great and cost less. What’s not to love.
