Had to replace the power steering pump on our 2003 Jeep Liberty. Of all the things I have done to cars I have never had to replace this so was my first time and this worked good after I figured out which one to use. You can looks up instructions online and not to hard to figure out, but if you are brand new to doing any mechanical stuff then get one with instructions.

I did have to modify the pulley jaws by grinding a small amount off of each half. Otherwise it worked better than the other ones I have bought over the years

The puller worked well and went smoothly. The reinstall not so good.. the small end of the screw in part of the bolt didn’t hold up and stripped out.

Used this tool to pull a pulley off a GM power steering pump and it worked with no problems. Just make sure you put the angled end of the jaws on the pulley.

Worked great for the power steering pump on a 2005 Jeep Liberty. Easy off and on. Cheap enough to buy for one job and have for the next one. There are no instructions but with a little common sense or YouTube it's not hard to figure out.

Great product, works great. Now if only Ford and Gm could learn how to bolt their damn pulleys on so we don't have the pain in the ass to start with!!!

I have another cheap version of this set from the chinese tool store and it is nowhere near as good. For the price the quality of this set is nice and if you don't abuse it I think it will last a long time. I made sure to grease the threads and any of the moving parts on the tool before I started, which is important with any kind of tool like this. As mentioned in some other reviews, there are ball bearings in some of the pieces of this tool, so when taking them apart do it over a rag so the ball doesn't escape. They really help to reduce friction, which is helpful when fighting with a power steering pulley that is a tight fit.I used this kit to change the power steering pump on 1994 Ford Explorer. If you take the fan and shroud out (don't forget you need the fan clutch wrench set to do this) there is enough room to use the tool. I had to use two wrenches linked together on the tool to get enough leverage. It's a good arm workout by the time you get the pulley off and then new one back on, but it worked well and I had no problems using it.

I needed this too ajust my power steering pulley,it was out of alignment.I was skeptical about ordering it with no instructions, but I was sick and tired of my belt chirping, and garage, after garge insisting it was related to the belt tensioner, or the idler pully. After replacing all those parts and a new alt,the chirp disapeared but only for a few weeks, then it came back.So I decided to get the KD 41560,to ajust the power steering pulley. This was my last hope of stopping the chirp. It workded perfectly on my 99 GMC Sonoma. It was tough ajusting with the fan still attached but, it's doable. As far as instructions. If you can't figure it out,you probably shouldn't be working on vehicals. There are only a few parts in the kit, and they work one way.But it would be alittle easyer to include a small manual for novice users, but if I can do it, anyone can.The chirping is gone. KD is a very good, push, pull pulley kit.It held up to the task .Very pleased that I bought this.Coming from someone who hates working on vehicals.A+ KD.
