So I have had this for about a year now and the first issue I had with it was one of the pins on the inside of the 12mm stud removal was missing luckily I was able to find the pin and it was fine. one thing I will say about this tool is if you use it you will definitely want to run a tap and die on the stud if reusing. I have used this on about 8 transmission replacements on toyotas where you have to swap the studs for the transfer case and noticed on the last one I did that the washer was deformed and the pins could come out easily safe to say I got my money's worth.

These are perfect for removing/replacing exhaust manifold studs. Studs being used have flat portion between threads. This is a perfect spot for tool to grab onto and run in using a 3/4 “ wrench and a 3/8” ratchet.

After fighting with a rusty, broken off bolt I gave in and bought this set... And should have bought it a long time ago! Within a minute I had the old, rusty, body mount bolt out with easy with this tool.They work on forwards and reverse making them very versatile. Sockets are sturdy, heavy construction. Nice case with a quality latch to store them in. 10/10 Great addition to my toolbox.

I used these first to replace remove the studs, then replaces them on a Subaru turbo out of a 2006 Outback XT. They works fast and easy and didn’t chew up the studs in the process. I wish I had bought these years ago. So much easier than other stud tools. It did have issues with a chewed up stud that was missing half of its threads. Not a big surprise. My other stud remover wouldn’t touch it either.

This product is one of the best products for the money. It removed those studs out of my engine just like they said they would. One of the best things about them is that the bearings are replaceable, and they are easy to repair(if the bearings should fall out) One of the bearings fell out of mine, and I thought it was broken, but the ring clamps made it easy to replace them. Thank you "GearWrench" for such a wonderful product. And once again. Thank you, Amazon!! You guys Rock!!

These seem like decent sockets. Not the best, not the worst. 3 of the sockets arrived with the snap rings partially installed. If you have ever removed a snap ring, you know this can be dangerous as the like to shoot out at high speed. This also means low quality control in my opinion. Only time will tell if these will last. One of the sockets arrived with the roller which had fallen out. It's an easy fix but inconvenient

I'm a professional mechanic and I can say that this is a very useful tool. Sometimes there are bolts with the head broken and with this tool you can remove them easily. It's so gentle that you can reinstall studs after being removed with this tool. Is a tool that every professional should have.Je suis un professionnel de la mécanique et je peut vous dire que c'est un outil très util. De fois il-y-a des vis avec la tête cassée et, avec cet outil, tu peut les deviser facilement. C'est si doux que tu peut réutiliser les goujons un fois tu les as enlevés avec cet outil. Tous les professionnels devraient l'y avoir.Soy un profesional de la mecánica y les puedo decir que esta herramienta es muy útil. A veces hay torinillos con la cabeza rota que con esta herramienta los puedes destornillar facilmente. Es tan delicada que puedes reutilizar los esparragos una vez los hayas removido. Todos los profesionales deberían tenerla.
