Works great for any angle. First gear wrench ratchet and I think I expected it to feel a bit nicer. Still a ratchet at the end of the day.

Works great! Once you go locking flex there is no going back! Can not beat the value for money!

I got this because of some reviews i've seen. It also has "notches" so the head doesn't flop around. I see the lock feature as a bonus. My co worker has the matco equivalent and it a little better imo, in contrast the "lock" is harder to engage and it holds better. This lock (gearwrench) is easier to engage but can come loose during use.Good value for the money imo. However i would look elsewhere if the lock is critical for you.Would still take this over the snap-on style locks though.

I've used this ratchet for over a year and it is not great. The locking mechanism is very poor. It doesn't stay locked, and even when it is in the locked position it has way too much play. The ratcheting mechanism is also poor. Too much slop in the gears to use in a tight space. I don't expect Snap-On quality but I was hoping it would perform at least well enough to be serviceable. It looks nice on the surface, but performs very poorly. Would not buy again. There are WAY better options out there.

Normal Gearwrench quality. Works great and has held up to daily abuse in shop.

Way too much free play on a flex point in a locked position. And even more play in all directions then the lock is free. Doesn't feel like a good reliable tool. Cannot say if it is my particular sample or a global flaw, made a return.
