A must to avoid any hiccups working on 2010 ram 5.7 hemi spark plugs. I was dreading the plug removal under the brake booster but this solved the problem. Some reviews claim a 5hr job, mine with freezing weather, power tools, and alone 1.5 hrs. Your mileage may vary, first time working on the hemi for my in-law.Swivel feature and shallow magnet placement is ideal for modern spark plug designed.Works for gen 5 Chevy LT1 engines too.

I saw a youtube video that said this tool makes changing the plugs out on a Dodge Hemi a lot easier, so I ordered it. It worked great. No doubt I could have used multiple different extensions and my old Plug socket, but the magnet worked great. I can say I prefer the magnet over the old rubber filled socket wrench. I'll likely use it for all my plug changes from here on out.

Tool fits over spark plug perfectly. Tool holds spark plug perfectly. Spark plug easy to pull out. 5/8 Hex fits perfectly over spark plug. Having a built-in extension on a swivel is great. For my Jeep Wrangler, YJ and probably all vehicles, it would be better if tool was 10-12" so it clears all engine components when breaking spark plug free or torquing it. I added a 4" extension to get the right clearance. I figure if you are going to have swivel socket product that is at least 6", you might as well make it so it will work in 80% of all engines tune-up application without having to add an extension. A 10'-12" would work. I would not deduct a star as tool works great and it is well made. My comments are only as an improvement idea.

10/30/23 update. Even with out the rubber insert works as advertised. 4 stars works as advertised -1 for quality control.Haven’t use it yet, But ya get 1 star because of no rubber insert. Bought because of all the features and video. Was new in package so it wasn’t a return resell. I will reach out and see about either replacement or a rubber insert. Huge inconvenience when your need said tool to get a job done. Will update review on the outcome.

Changing spark plugs on a V8 engine, especially in a tight space like the E92 M3, can be a challenging task. However, the 3/8" Drive 6 Pt. 5/8" x 6" Magnetic Swivel Spark Plug Socket proved to be a game-changer during my recent spark plug replacement, particularly for the rear cylinders. The standout feature of this socket is its ingenious magnetic swivel design. The magnetic feature holds the spark plug securely in place, preventing any accidental drops and ensuring a smooth removal and installation process. The swivel mechanism allows for a flexible range of motion, making it an absolute lifesaver when dealing with hard-to-reach areas, such as the rear cylinders in a V8 engine. The 3/8" drive size was a perfect fit, and the 6-point design provided a secure grip on the spark plugs. This design minimizes the risk of rounding off the plug edges, offering both confidence and peace of mind during the removal and installation process. The robust build quality of the socket instills confidence in its ability to handle the torque required for spark plug changes. The 5/8" size is a common fit for many spark plugs, including those in the E92 M3. This versatility makes the socket a valuable addition to any toolbox, catering to a wide range of applications. The 6-inch length of the socket provided the perfect balance between reach and control, allowing me to navigate the intricacies of the engine bay effortlessly.

I used this recently at work to do spark plugs on an e92 m3 s65 engine. I could do all 8 spark plugs with ease with this tool. The magnet works well and the swivel joint is nice and smooth. I'm enjoying using this tool so far. I don't use an impact on chrome tools nor on spark plugs so your mileage may vary if this is something you decide to do...

As it was time to do a tune up on my truck, from the position of the Coil On Plug packs on it, I knew getting into some of the locations for the spark plugs near the back of the motor was going to be a challenge in patience and sanity. I have read some of the horror stories from folks who had a heck of a time getting the spark plugs near the back of the truck engine out due to the room restrictions of the form of the body and the space between the motor and the engine body compartment. After much research and advice, even with extensions and wobbly sockets I found this was still going to be a challenge due to the space constraints of the engine compartment and where these back plugs where located on the engine, so after some in store comparisons and on the net comparisons I found this extension with a wobbly socket head that I had anticipated would work well on my Ford and for the back spark plugs. Now considering that I had looked in stores and on line and found some product to be more than what I wanted to pay, these were a bargain compared to some of the popular named brand tolls that were out there and sold in stores and even some that I looked at online. Now I did find a few similar items like this, but the quality of the tool didn't exactly instill me with confidence that this was something that would be a good value and have durability to live up to many years of good use, and I would rather spend a few dollars more to get something that is durable and well built than something that looks like it might develop a fracture or strip my spark plug while it is in the engine nor did I want to have my spark plug break and have to end up buying a removal tool or have to pull the head to pull a broken spark plug out if a removal tool couldn't do the job.So after some research I decided to give this extension wobbly socket a try and boy did it make the job of getting those back plugs out where there was not a lot of room a whole lot easier. The socket fit nicely down the spark plug hole ( never realized the depth of the hole in the head till I bought this little gem ) and once on the spark plug it was a nice snug fit, so that left me felling assured that there was no need to worry about the socket stripping the spark plug and allowed me to use only a small extension in conjunction with the wobbly/extension socket and remove my plugs with next to no cussing or scaring the neighbors away with tools flying out of the garage and into the yard in frustration.I don't think you can beat the price and the quality of this wobbly/extension socket if you looked on line and in the stores. Yes there are some name brand ones out there, but they were way more expensive then the one that this review is on and in my mind I think the quality of this wobbly/extension socket is right up their with some of the name brand ones.I would be misleading you if I said I wasn't concerned about how the back spark plugs were going to go due to the confined space of the engine compartment and the location of the back plugs, but this wobbly/extension socket made the job a heck of a lot easier and really performed well and sure put my mind at ease once I finished one of the first ones at the back using this little gem.So if you have a tight spot to get into to change your spark plug and you don't wan't to take a loan out to but a similar tool at a much higher price, give this wobbly/extension socket a try. You may find like I did that you can save your self some aggravation and make getting those spark plugs in tough spots to get at a whole lot easier to get to and save yourself some money compared to the name brand ones that you would find on line and in store.. Glad I took the chance on it, you might like to take a chance too
