Everything works super smooth, including the locking mechanism; most folks buying this will know why the drawers lock only when the lid is close, and why you can't open them as the lid is close/locked. However, I noticed some funny reviews where people are complaining they can't open the drawers unless the lid is open...clue-phone is ringing!..if you are carrying this thing and the drawers slide open, guess what happens...everything inside goes flying!

Well built heavy sucker. Need to buy your own liners. Drawer action on the ball bearing sliders is nice. Only worth it when on sale around $50.

This toolbox is very solid. Definitely not made of plastic. All of the lower drawers lock into place when closed so you do not have to worry about them opening when moving the box around. It has plenty of space for lots of tools and equipment. The top part is the largest while all the other drawers are a little smaller. The box it comes in is packed well to avoid dings and dents. It is a nice box.

If youve been letting your tools lie around your garage or just throw them in a drawer, its time for you to start loving yourself. I got this bad mama-jamma to hold my knife modding tools and boy does he hold those tools well. No moisture, no rattling, just tools with a proper home….and it locks so thats pretty sick.

this tool box came well backed in thick cardboard which was enclosed in an amazon shipping box. It was in perfect condition. The drawers slide easily, but it will tip over if you have something heavy in the open drawer, or more than one drawer open. With that said - its fits my needs size wise.

A nice, heavy gage, sturdy tool chest. I was surprised to find out how well it was built for the price. Everything works, draws slide freely and are perfectly alined. The lid drawer securing mechanism works like a charm, the lock works fine, and I'm really impressed with the metal carrying handle on top. Most plastic ones seem to break after repeated use. Definitely built for a hefty load of tools. Keep the draw slides lubed now and hen, and this tool box will last a long time.

El grosor de lámina es adecuado, lo único a tomar en cuenta es la agarradera solo porta 2 remaches y la caja cargada de herramienta se pone realmente pesada. Recomendable para dejarla en una mesa fija pero si se mueve de un lugar a otro pienso que es correcto cargarla desde abajo como lo hago yo.

This toolbox is the perfect size for my needs and includes a key lock to keep my tools secure. It is very sturdy and well-constructed.I have to purchase a few trays for the drawers to keep my tools organized—a great buy.

Good, heavy, fairly sturdy toolbox. Better than others I have tried. (I bought and returned the Big Red one, for example, as it felt flimsy and the drawers were jamming).Fairly smooth action. Maybe could be even smoother with some WD-40 or similar? Haven't tried yet.Lacks drawer padding.Nice metal handle. The drawers require a slight final push to click closed, but I assume this is intentional.

It seems built fairly well, but unfortunately I did not check the depth. It's barely deep enough to hold the tools, and my longer screwdrivers have to be placed in sideways.The price is good. The paint is good. Unfortunately there is no padding for the tools (the bottom box in my picture came with padding).From the name, I assumed (yeah, I know, stupid me) that this was made in the USA. Nope. Made in China.You can tell because the hinge at the back that holds the lock bar for the drawers is bent. It replaced an Alltrade tool box that only had two drawers, but you could tell it was made in the USA because none of the parts are bent.This is an ok tool box, especially if you get it on sale.
