As others have mentioned, the handle-end of both bars have an abrupt cutoff. I wouldn't call it sharp, but definitely uncomfortable if you rest your palm there. I don't plan on using them very often, so I can live with it. For me, two bars (15" and 24") at this price (~$34) works. They could have EASILY added another finishing step or two to make these really nice.So, they work, but because of the "quality issue", this has moved the GearWrench brand off my "decent home tools" list to "spend my money elsewhere" list.

Good value considering you spend the same amount for just the longer breaker on sale in the Milwaukee brand. There’s nothing anyone can complain about for the price. Ive a mix of tools crescent, Milwaukee, makita, gearwrench. I’ve no gripes only difference is name price at the time.

I bought these to break lug nuts loose. My intention was to buy an impact wrench later on when I could better afford one, but use these breaker bars until that time.Candidly, the bars make removing lug nuts so easy I may not bother with the impact wrench, and use those dollars on something else. These breaker bars are rock solid for my usage!

These breaker bars are an unreal value in CAD right now. Taiwan made, heavy duty. Local shops selling the 24” for more than the pair.Tons of leverage and you can easily place a cheater on for more and these hold up.

Got this to mostly work on Cars (breaking brake caliper bolts, etc.)I like that I got two bars in one package, because sometimes the longer bar can't be used under a car.* People complain about: Finish. The ones I got look just fine, finish is nice and shiny.* People complain about: The bars breaking. I'm going to use these with mostly 3/8" sockets with an adapter on the bar. I expect the adapter or socket will break first if I ever put my full body weight on the bar.I did try the bars on some Lug Nuts and they work well, I can put a lot of pressure on them without any bending, so I think they are OK for my use.

Aún no lo utilizo ya que lo compre para tenerlo a la mano para cambio de llantas de manera rápida, sin embargo la calidad se siente bastante bien, lo largo ya ancho son los adecuados y su acabado cromado lo hacer ver muy bien

I grew up in an era when a breaker bar..breaker BARS..DID NOT BREAK!! C'mon..your dad..and or your uncle..maybe YOU LOL..just give er..stand..JUMP on the thing..sledge hammer the damn thing..put a length of pipe on it and just give er..Break..the things did not even BEND..That was in the 1960's/1970's..not sure when the junk came out..I had bought a few Canadian Tire..Mastercraft..many years ago..don't know what happenned to them..I had occasion to buy some more..SOooo..off to Canadian Tire..their Maximum line..Do yourself a SAFE favor..DON'T BUY those Canadian Tire Maximum 1/2" guaranteed for life 1/2" 24" breaker bars. Do someone else a favor..just DON'T buy them. Sure..they go on sale all the time..for like $10I bought 2 of them..at a rusted torqued to 140ft lbs and rusty..wheel nut..these things with NO cheating..extension..just armstrong..bent like spaghetti!! No..they actually did not break..WHO CARES?? WHEN the lug nut came loose..the shock waves from this real garbage bar sent PAINFUL shock waves up my arm..ok..I will NOT EVER use this again..the 2nd bar was the same.Ok..off to some more breaker bar SHOPPING..PLENTY!! of reviews on breaker bars BREAKING..yes even on here..what a lovely way to maybe get some serious injury! Like a piece of shrapnel.Gearwrench..yes..I have a few of their tools..GREAT! stuff..FOR PROFESSIONALS,MECHANICSI could not find ANY bad reviews on these things..Amazon..there was a set..SET..1-15" very handy size! plus the 24"..$32 I think..They were here almost as soon as I ordered them..The Gearwrench case..thing of beauty! Heavy cardboard..beautiful..with a hinged lid! Just put that bad boy right in the roller cabinet! Gearwrench I guess takes some PRIDE in their product. Really nice to seeespecially in this day and age..Feels like a tool for a pro..the head is 1/3 the size of the crappy tire one!..the shaft is thinner too..On with the socket and to another couple nuts..This bar was SOLID! Very little flex..pretty much all your effort goes into AH LOOSENING THE NUT!None of this bend like a LIMP noodle crap. The amount of effort with this bar just dropped like a stone..It was just no big deal for this bar..YAWN..No..I don't know how much torque they will take..but at 140ft lb rusted truck wheel nuts..this bar just called out to me.."GIVE ER"The other ones..the Maximum's..they were just unsafe at that length..torque..SOOoo..I cut them into SHORT bars..Thank You Gearwrench..Thank You Amazon
