First of all I bought this kit and half price so I ended up purchasing it again glad I did comes with everything an amp a gig bag a tuner extra strings pics and a cord as far as value while that goes without saying but the guitar is playable and I had an issue with one damaged in shipping but the other one was perfect the humbucker a bit microphonic but sounds good so for the money it's a steal whether you're a beginner or you want to just mod it's a insane value for the money

Christmas present for my 14 year old daughter who took up guitar her freshman year. She has an acoustic guitar. I thought this would be a wonderful first electric guitar for her. She absolutely loves it! It’s a beautiful yellow. Sounds great. She says the tuner doesn’t work so I purchased one from our local music store.

It's a good deal sounds good and comes with a lot. I got it for my girlfriend who has an acoustic guitar but always wanted an electric one. She says it's an amazing product and it's an excellent price.

Got it on sale. Returning tomorrow.First, it showed up in a giant Amazon box that looked like someone had whacked with a hockey stick a bunch.Second, it was already a little beat up. Little nicks and scratches. There was plastic on the pickups and pick guard, but it looked like someone had played the body a bunch, swapped the neck for a new neck, and then threw some plastic on it and called it good.Third, it was dusty as all get out. It had very obviously sat in exposed in a warehouse for a while. Either that or somebody put in their driveway while they used a leaf blower.Fourth and final, the 6th string just would not stop buzzing like crazy on the second fret wire, no matter what changes you made. I would have had to take it in to get a professional setup which is just not worth it for a guitar I paid 120 bucks for. You could even tell somebody had strummed it a bunch because the second fret wire had wear where the 6th string rubbed against it. Buzzed to the point where it wasn't really functional or playable. Also, the little baby amp sounds so bad and is so light that it feels like a toy. I have a tiny little hockey puck Bluetooth speaker that is 1/3 the size and 3 times the weight. The amp shouldn't even really be a selling point.Honestly, it would look ok if it wasn't beat up and dusty. It's a little greener than it looks in the picture, but it's still cool. The neck actually felt pretty solid, and the guitar felt heavy in a good way.If you're not afraid to work on guitars, go ahead I guess. But it would be more fun to buy a diy kit for that price and it would be better put together and actually new when you get it.When I buy something new, I expect a playable instrument that I shouldn't have to work a bunch on and that is clean and not dinged up. I also don't want something that has obviously sat for so long, it's not going to be square and unwarped if it sits in a warehouse for 2 years.

Really wonderful instrument. I know the price might make you raise an eyebrow but it's actually very finely made and sounds beautiful. My son has been strumming away in his room and I'm very happy I was able to give him the gift of music without breaking the bank.

I had purchased this item, it came 4-5 days later in a box that looked like it had been thrown across the warehouse. I was worried the guitar was broken it was that bad. And my worries proved correct as the bag was torn by the headstock, and the headstock was damaged. I tried setting it up, to see if it was playable and it was almost unplayable right out of the box. I ended up returning the item, later getting a replacement of the item, the guitar was seemingly fine, until closer inspection. The nut of the guitar was severely off center, the bridge was screwed in lopsided making it unfixable without a heavy amount of work.Without factory defects the guitar would be great. The tiny little amp can be a good starter, even though I wouldn’t use it for much other than a travel amp. Would recommend eventually getting a new one. The strap isn’t great, but it works. The cable is actually decent compared to other cheap brands. The guitar itself has a nice feeling neck, pickups aren’t great but they’re ok, would recommend modding. Tuners are what you expect.Overall with my experience I wouldn’t highly recommend for someone who has never play or touched a guitar before. Like even some Glarry products are better than this. But if you get lucky I’d say it can be a nice little instrument.

I love my new guitar. The GearIT GST100 is a beautiful bang for your buck beginner's guitar. If you know how to set up and modify guitars. This would be the perfect guitar for you. I don't regret my purchase at all. The construction of this guitar is awesome for $107.00

I bought this guitar kit because I haven't played an instrument in many year, and had been wanting to get back into playing. Right out of the box the guitar felt comfrtable. The mini amp is decent for when you are just practicing or playing for yourself. The neck is comfortable, and the frets are good, I found no buzzing or anything that would affect the sound. The pickups are good. I like the coil tap feature for the humbucker. The strap is too low of quality so I never tried it, I wouldn't trust it to stay attached to the guitar if I tried to play standing up. Also I couldn't use the tuner because I didn't find the battery anywhere.Overall it is a good deal, If you just buy a higher quality strap, guitar cable and amp you can rock it good
