Got this snatch block for some tree work. It is very well built and not failed me yet.Definitely suggest if you need a snatch block.

I got right to work pulling down trees. My husband cut the trees while I pulled the rope with the truck. Couldn’t have done it without this pulley. I would recommend !

Like I said it is very well made. The only thing I found was like the box was previously opened. One end of the box was sitting loose in the packaging.

Used it for the first time today. Snatched a skid steer uphill, out of a mud hole deeper than the entire height of the tires. My 12,000 lb Warn winch wouldn’t do it alone and my truck was slipping all 4 tires in 4 low. Put this snatch block on using a shackle and hooked my winch back to my bumper shackle on my truck and pulled it straight out. It took everything my winch had even with the block so I was putting max stress on this thing and when I was done it just folded back open and came off the cable and went back in my truck like nothing ever happened. Saved the day. Can’t say enough good things about it. Just make sure you have shackles and a GOOD heavy duty nylon strap and it’s easy.

I purchase gear america when ever possible as St Jude's is a cause that I support completely.. my only thing I have to say is I believe the cable/rope wheel should be a larger diameter because my cable was in a tight turn around the wheel causing it to kinda un twist.. I noticed it after I had pulled off the cable to rewind it up correctly on the drum.. other than that it is a good block.. I'd buy it again if needed

Le réa fait environ 9cm de diamètre, prévu pour un câble jusqu'à 19mm, l'axe est muni d'un graisseur.Je m'en sers comme poulie de mouflage pour mon HDJ 80 et de temps en temps pour retirer des souches dans mon jardin avec un tirefort 1,6 tonne. Si quelque chose casse, ce ne sera pas ces poulies...Notons que le service clients Gear America est exceptionnel, hyper réactif et très sympa, ce qui ne gâche rien !
