This Was to short for the transmission shifter arm I was using. I Bought a different shifter Arm that didn't have the offset square hole and it works without issues and is the perfect length.

Replaced in 2004 chevy silverado. Little short but works. Just can't put it in low, which doesn't matter to me. I don'tuse low anyways..

Ordered this for my dad's 2005 Chevy silverado. It was a prefect fit.You can separate it about halfway to connect ether to the steering colum side or from the transmission linkage.The connections are solid plastic and well made.This was a great inexpensive replacement.

Ces cables pour changer de vitesse de mon sierra 1500 n,ont duré que une semaine ils se sont brisé dans le joint du milieu. Aussi le mécanicien beaucoup de misere a l,installer et le bras etait dur a chifter tandis qu,avec l,original ca bien été pour l,installer et le bras pour chifter est facile et normal comme avant qu,il brise. Ca revien a dire que j,ai pas sauver d,argent en achetant ce cable de jobbeur et vaut mieux acheter l,original tout de suite. Tres decu de cette achat.

Install was fairly easy just got to take your time and you'll get it. I only needed the top half and tried using the new top half with my factory bottom half to save time but the factory bottom cable end was to thick to slide into the new top cable end, so I had to use the whole new cable together. The is a rubber O ring on the adjustment side of the new bottom cable that you will need to just remove and not use it. The O ring will not fit in the adjustment and if it dose it will not fit into the next part for it to be able to slide and adjust. Remove the O ring and it will operate and adjust just fine. Great for the price, everyone around me wanted 290$ before taxes for a cable.

This is a two-piece cable and unfortunately the lower piece broke when I tried to snap it together. I’ve been a mechanic for 40 years so I know what I’m doing. Luckily for me, the upper cable was damaged and not the lower so I was able to use my old lower cable and make it work. There was no way to contact the seller and because of that I would give it one star or less if I could.People need to know when parts are inferior. They work hard for their money and they don’t need to have their vehicle down for extra time because of something like this.I cannot recommend this product or the seller
