I bought GEprofile wall oven and microwave combo three years ago, now it is not working/heating. The repair guy came and told us that magnatron is gone, and now I need to get wall oven. Never get single wall unit. If one goes, you need to replace both. It is really costly to repair/replace magatron. For my new home I got all GE profile appliances, I hope it lasts longer and do not run in to a problem. Ordinary microwave lasts more than 5 years. GE quality is not as good as it was in the past. I am really disappointed.Vina

Not what I expected. Pictures on advertisement were not clear. A step down from my previous appliance.

It's very sleek looking which is great, but I am having a problem with the microwave. I am 5'4" tall and because the door to the microwave opens like an oven door, I can hardly get things in and out. Sometimes I have to stand on a step stool. Plus it's extra deep, which sounds like a good thing, but I can barely reach the back to clean it. I'm so frustrated. I haven't even tried the oven yet because I am trying to overcome my dislike for the microwave. It was installed properly. I replaced another double GE unit which was installed in the same place. If it wasn't so much trouble getting in that spot in the first place,I would return it.

Builder got it installed from GE guys, when we bought the house. We had a sensor issue in the 1st year itself. Called GE and the parts were delivered, also the guys came to change the parts. But to our surprise they said that they cannot repair as its not installed properly by the builder. We told him to give us in written, he said will send an email with GE logo, which is better option than writing on a paper. He left and we never got any email or any update. We called our builder and the guys came in and told us that the GE guys only installed it and its done proper. He was ready to face the GE guys and discuss. So we again called GE support to get the appointment again, so that we can inform the builder too and they can be face to face. Now, what we hear from the GE support is just too much shocking, they told us that GE repair guys will not install or unstall the product for repair, you need to uninstall it and keep it ready for repair. We were told them, how can we do the same we are not professional. they were not ready to hear anything, kept our call on hold and then disconnected. I am trying to search everywhere online if the warranty policy says so, but unable to find anything. Has anyone else also faced such a situation? We are still in 1st year warranty period with builder and appliaces.

First off I am far from an expert on ovens. We rarely bake anything and I use a smoker for most all our meats. We have only got to use this for a couple of weeks so far but I am very happy with it. First off it just looks really good. The fans are much quieter than the oven it replaced. I have used the convection microwave and really like it so far. Only thing I have baked in the oven is a take and bake pizza but so far so good. I know some people complain about the controls but they are really easy once you get the hang of them. I love the sliding rack and the fact that you don't have to remove the grates when you clean the oven. The inside of the microwave is huge and with the convection feature you can use it for some baking during the holidays. This replaced another GE oven that gave us many years of trouble free use and only got replaced to update the kitchen.I installed the oven myself and it was really easy if you have a few handyman skills and are comfortable hooking up the electrical connection. It is too heavy to lift into place with one person but with me on one side, my wife and her friend on the other it popped right in .

Great looking oven. The controls are clean and minimalist. There are no numbers, you change temp, time etc. with the dial. It takes a little getting used to.We've never had a convection oven before, but it seems to put a substantial amount a heat into the kitchen when in convection mode. The smaller top oven preheats quickly.

We've had this for a while now and really like it. It is stylish, everything works great and a good buy from Amazon. The microwave/convection oven is the best and huge inside with polished stainless steel that looks great. The cooling fans are very quiet and we don't even notice them being on after cooking. The beepers are low toned and not invasive. The main oven has a great easy slide rack that is effortless to pull on. Lights in both ovens. We weren't sure about the control panel but love it after using it for awhile; easy learning curve with simple controls. Shipping took about two and a half weeks but we new that. Very modern looking and a breeze to install.
