I have this weird outlet in the floor of my living room. I just bought two electric recliners, and I needed more outlets since this outlet is in between the chairs. I didn't want anything too tall sticking up from the floor so this item was perfect. Now phone, lamp and chairs are plugged in and the flatter style doesn't stick up to high. Works perfectly and expect it to last.

This is a great solution for my kitchen countertop, which has a lot of useful machines, but not enough outlets. I got tired of plugging and unplugging. I saw a similar one at a friend's house and decided to try it. It works really well, and has the option of screwing it directly into the hole that the wallplate uses. You can use it without the screw if you are leaving things plugged in, but if you are going to regularly UNplug items, it tends to pull the whole unit out of the plug and really needs the screw to keep it in place. My only issue is the design. It is not as sleek as the more expensive version. If you are on a budget, this one is better, but if you can afford it, their other model has less a more gradual slope and looks better, as well as being a little easier to plug and unplug the 4 side outlets. It's a 5 for usefulness, but a 4 because of the shape/design.

these are well made, and come with a screw so you can affix it to the wall plate, replacing the wall plate screw.

This product is the definition of first world problems but nothing makes me happier than not having to unplug something to plug something else in. It’s perfectly sized to not take up too much space on the wall and so convenient to use. Great functionality and appearance!

These are really nicely made for the price. They're."inexpensive" ... but not "cheap." To me, cheap denotes poor quality. To me, there is nothing "cheap" here. They are well made, and UL Listed. The center screw makes for a nice, secure wall tap. Note: the screw will only work on regular standard style outlets with the cover removed. The screw uses the center hole; normally needed to hold the cover. If you have modern, updated style outlets, (as I do) the center screw is useless. Still; the tap is tight fitting. It is mounted behind our flat screen & glass top entertainment stand with our cable box, and the kids' game consoles. The risk of knocking it out is minimal. Another big plus, ... these have plugs for BOTH TOP & BOTTOM outlets. Some wall taps only use one; and have a single plastic post in the ground slot.for the other. This would render 1 row of 3 useless for me. When I rewired with the new, modern receptacles, I opted to place the top & bottom as isolated circuits. Top draws current from one breaker, the bottom, from another. 6 components drawing current from 1 receptacle, ... Questionable IMHO. I give this product 5 stars for both quality and design. Very Very Pleased!
