I like the longer cord length on this outlet. It worked as described and I would recommend this for outdoor lights that need a timer. Worked in cold winter conditions.

I set this up for an outdoor appliance that I need to run 30 minutes each day. I set it up once and it switches on for 30 minutes and then shuts off. Took less than 5 minutes to set up and figure out how to set it. Appears to be very heavy duty.

Purchased it for my outside security lights. Easy to set, very accurate and really like the extra socket so you don’t have to disconnect it to use another socket. Love the extra long cord this is my favorite one. Really like the cover that protects the time setting

My husband bought this to time the string of backyard lights he hung for me during the fall and I have been in love with my backyard ever since. We’ve had snow, rain and high winds and my lights still come on like clock work!! It isn’t bulky and isn’t distracting as I barely even notice it’s there. It’s easy to use and definitely water resistant. I highly recommend this product!

Purchased this in 2020 for out door lanai rope lights on the ground. They worked perfectly for the past two years. During Hurricane IAN we took everything inside. Post Hurricane IAN as we tried to regain some sense of normalcy we had our pacers power washed and sand got into the unit. Buying two more units now because it’s a great product.

This timer is simple to use, has a cover t protect it from the weather. It works great, just pull up or push down on the dial -so easy. Definitely recommend it

You do get power. There is an on/off timer.The problem is that the force to go from off to on is too high for the timer to actually switch over.So every day looked like this:1. set to the current time.2. Confirm that the power is on3. Wait until evening. Confirm that the timer turned the power off4. Notice that the power isn't on. Check and notice the timer is stuck right where the power should be turned on.Rinse and repeat. It was turning itself off, but never on. So it basically saved me 1 power switch click definitely not worth it when a cheap timer worked flawlessly - it just isn't rated for outside use

I have 8 spots lights running along the length of my 200 ft veranda. This one plug turn them on simultaneously. I've connected the $15 HD spots with multiple 3 plugs extension cords. The cords are hidden behind pots, under mulch and rocks. I didn't have to hire an electrician and pay ridiculous dollars to have outdoor lighting. In the past I've paid thousand of dollars to have my veranda professionally done. After awhile the lights don't work, tree roots push on the outlet boxes, heat and sun make the paint on the ballast peel and flake. It is impossible to replace the light bulbs because, they are commercial grade spots and the screws on the ballast rust too. The light bulbs cost $35 a piece not including having the electricians come to do the work. Something annually always needed freshening up.Not anymore for under $200 I have my veranda trees with soft lighting again. If a power cord goes out, in 10 years or so, I know where to buy another one...I did this at my large estate home. I had 20 of them around my property. They held up for the 6 years after I installed it. I got so tired of replacing expensive exterior lights.

We've been using this timer to run our outdoor Christmas lights from Thanksgiving to New Years every year, and so far it has survived numerous ice storms, rain storms, mist, fog, drizzle, snow, freezing temperatures, and whatever else winter will throw at this thing. As long as there is power going to the outlet, this timer just keeps chugging along, turning on our outdoor Christmas lights every evening and off at midnight without fail. I've noticed as I was setting this up for it's 4th year of use, the plastic and rubber material is quite durable, and despite 3 winter's worth of use, still looks new without cracks or defects in the material.It's pretty easy to set, and in case you lose the instructions or can't figure out if you pull the pins up for on or for off, a little guide is printed on the back of the timer itself. Quite handy as I can't ever seem to remember whether the pins need to be up or down as I set up the lights every year. The plastic cover does a good job keeping direct moisture out of the timer, and in the past 3 years of using this timer it has never shorted out or tripped a circuit breaker.The right angle plug is handy, and the numbers on the timer are relatively easy to read. We're quite happy with this low cost, simple-to-operate timer, and just bought another one to run the lights on the other side of the house. We used to use a remote control one, but kept forgetting to either turn the lights on, or off, so decided to go with a 24 hour timer that was going to do it for us automatically. The only downside is that if your power ever goes out, you have to remember to go adjust the time setting on the timer as it will be off a bit based on how long your power was out.
