I got this tape measure for a medical project. Fitting knee braces is what the purchase was designed for. It cost me next to nothing, and is more than effective. Thank you for a great tape measure for any circumstance.

This tape measure is great, and will lock in place every inch or so. You can press the button on the center to retract it. Unfortunately the pull tab on my unit broke after a couple years of use. This was entirely user error, not a fault of the manufacturer.

I loved this measuring tape! Everything about it was perfect and I used it for a few months, but the handle popped off and now I can’t use it at all because the measuring tape is stuck inside the wheel. Great product while it lasts, but I am now looking into a different brand that hopefully lasts longer.

I've only had this about 18 months, and I use it once every couple of weeks to measure something. The tab at the end of the tape is tearing off. If I didn't know better, I'd say this was more like I'd had it for many years. Not very sturdy.

This tape measure takes up almost no room in my ice fishing kit and is a much cheaper option than some of the name brand options. The measurments are pretty easy to see but can sometimes be difficult in darker settings due to the black background. I love the auto ratchet feature that recoils the the tape when you press the button on the side. it allows you to pull the tape out and leave it locked in place until your ready to retract it. has both CM and IN on either side. If it ever breaks I will definitley buy another for how cheap they are. Great value for the money!

As far as the clip coming off, I didn't have that problem yet. I heard others had the problem so I drove half a staple through it, crimped it and used diagonal cutters to cut off the excess. It shouldn't fail unless the actual plastic breaks. And the little bit of staple stops it from going in. I have 2 of these.

This little retractable tape measure is a fantastic find! It's simple, does exactly what it's supposed to, and the price is incredibly low. I use it for body measurements and sewing projects, and it's been reliable and easy to handle. The retractable function is super convenient, and it's small enough to toss in my bag. Honestly, for the price, you can't go wrong. Definitely worthy of 5 stars!

I'm taken by surprise by how tiny the measuring tape is (the ad fails to mention this and the picture gives no idea). The tape measures only 7 mm wide! (about half the usual width) That makes it less easy and convenient to handle and read. I would not recommend it.

I just wanted something small that I could keep in a desk and I wanted to be able to measure irregular surfaces and it does all that. I also lined it up against a ruler, just to ensure it was accurate and both cm and inches lined up perfectly. My (very minor) issues -- I wish the spring was just a little stronger, and secondly, there is a little pull tab that also keeps the tape from pulling inside the case. The tape loops around a slit in the pull tab, which is then heat sealed to itself (the tape). In my case it is offset (in other words, it is not even), which creates a little edge on one side. So, when the tape goes back into the case, it often catches on that little edge and doesn't always completely go back inside the case. Yes, it is pretty minor, but I also find it a little annoying that it won't always retract fully into the case, but that doesn't affect the function of the tape measure, so I still gave it a 5-star.
