The Gravity Defier brand is my new favorite shoe. I wear orthotic insoles, but these shoes came with them!! If the shoe is a little wide, add a special insole. A little loose? Take out an insole. Each shoe comes with four insoles and it's pretty easy to get a good fit.I like that the bottom is thick so they look like a platform. I'm tired of wearing tennis shoes and theselook more stylish! I bought 3 pair, in different colors, to go with my pants. Gotta be quick! They run out!

I have planter fasciitis and heel spurs with all the heel pain that goes with it. I've tried on probably 20 different styles of sneakers to try and find ones that make the pain go away. I've had a few strikes that helped some but nothing perfect. These are the most comfortable sneakers I've ever put on. Comfortable even before braking in. The gel heel is so springy that it feels like I'm bouncing on a trampoline. So far I haven't had any pain after wearing them, but they're still new to me. Looking forward to the future pain relief. FYI - I tried both the women's and men's version, and I found the men's more comfortable.

These shoes are quite remarkable. Construction, fit, comfort, and support are superb. They are among the best crosstraining/walking shoes I've ever worn. The only issue I have is with the soles--specifically the finely crosshatched grid pattern which picks up fine gravel and doesn't release it. Attempts to brush it away are mostly futile. I don't see how the soles can provide adequate traction when most of the spaces get loaded up with small pebbles. Removing the shoes before coming indoors (which of course, many would do anyway) is mandatory to prevent scratching the floor and tracking occasional gravel through the house. If G-Defy modified the sole to fix this problem, It would be 5 stars for sure.

Buy them, give them a try! I ordered a 12W and a 13W. 12W fits well, but would have preferred a 12 1/2 option just to be sure. Very comfortable; the orthotic inserts gave my arch a nice firm lift, even though the preinstalled "comfort fit" inserts provided, by themselves, better support than most other shoes. With either pair of inserts, the heel cup is nice and snug. Almost a little too much bounce but, after all, they are meant to prevent shock from traveling to the ankles, knees, etc. They have greatly eased my plantar fasciitis almost to the point of elimination within four days. I've been icing that heel at night but no longer feel the need.I'm unsure if it is the trampoline effect of the heel, its height, or the general design of the soles that tend to make the wearer want to "lean" forward while walking, but this sensation is effective in aiding forward propulsion after taking a while for your stride to adjust to it.Folks complimented the aesthetics as well, even though I ordered what I thought was a conservative beige, because there is a very nice, sparkle effect in the upper fabric! The webpage photos do not do justice to the very attractive AND breathable fabric. Even though I was more interested in the comfort and fit, I almost wish I'd ordered one of the other, more colorful versions.I'll monitor their durability, and update this critique within the 60-day window they allow for defects.

I rate these trainers very very highly as I am slowly recovering from Ankle Fusion Surgery. They are so comfortable and more importantly they support my ankle so well. I recommend these trainers ver much.

Yeah they don't really advertise that very much but you have to train your feet for these shoes but once you do you will not feel foot pain anymore from walking on concrete at work like I did before these shoes unbelievable. I cant buy another pair fast enough. I know some people are complaining about the quality or them falling apart I'm not having any of that problems these things look solid all around. This technology is freakn groundbreaking Im a believer its in the peer review and its in my own research by wearing them. Follow the pictures and your feet will thank you. Order one full size larger I wear a 13 and I ordered a 14 and it fit perfect.

These shoes are heavy and do not relieve foot pain like my previous 12 pairs of Hokas. They were a mistake in most every way. Going down hill they do not hold their place and toes are jammed into the toe box. I did not like the way they position the rocker aspect, creating hip pain. I will wear my worn out HOKA shoes until a new pair arrives. Lesson learned. And I did give them a fair chance. These were not worth the money and will be donated to our KARN store,
