I bought two of these in an attempt to turn a Jazz & Ribs downtown outdoor park concert and food festival into a longer-lasting experience, and boy it really paid off. We sat in these chairs for 6 hours straight, excepting for grabbing food and regular beer transfusions, and loved it. They are surprisingly sturdy and when you feel how nice the rocker is, it only takes a moment to realize you can absolutely trust this chair. They fold up and unfold easily and fit into an easy-to-carry bag. The shade isn't huge but we sat under a tree anyway and adjusted the shade as needed to cover what the tree wasn't shading. The phone and drink holders are perfect. The chairs are heavy (which is a feature of them being so sturdy) so I purchased an equally impressive Amazon Basics cart that made getting around flawless

Love this chair for baseball games especially, this really hot sunny days saves me from a headache. The chair itself it great! A tad bulky to get in and out of the bag but my tiny self got the hang of it. It’s a heavy, I was going to purchase one for my parents but they can’t handle the weight. The hood is a different material, and after three uses it got a hole somehow. I imagine it happened when trying to bag it. So the material is much lighter and easier to rip, so unfortunately not the same as the chair itself. You can see photos where the top is. That’s my only complaint.

We had the original GCI Rocker Freestyle that folded flat and was awkward to carry (but was still awesome), so we were looking for a more portable option. Picked these up on sale and have loved them! They collapse into a nice travel bag for much easier storage and transport. When open, they are comfortable and sturdy. My only warning is that unlike the classic model where it's more of a seat and you can sit up right, these have you in a more lounging, leaning back position. In addition, these are lower to the ground, so they may not be the best for elderly folks. For me, a middle aged man who get's around well, it's not an issue. As for quality and construction, we have owned 6 GCI chairs of different models for about 3-4 years and they have all held up well. The most I've had to do is to use a little WD-40 to eliminate a squeak. My wife even ran one over and bent the frame, but we still use it! I highly recommend GCI products! The only "negative" would be the weight -- they are not light, but it's not surprising when you consider how sturdy they are. My wife can carry it, but she doesn't like to.

Sitzen kann man recht gut in dem Stuhl. Aber es fehlt definitiv eine Kopfstütze. So macht es keinen Spaß

The chair is very comfortable. The sun shade is the best feature. I like that it rocks. I like it so much I was going to buy another but in the last week the price increased from $138 to $235. Can you say CORPORATE GREED?

I am a big fan of rocker chairs. I got this one specifically for the beach (beach umbrellas are a PIA). Well packaged and comes in a good carry bag. Unlike some chairs you get, the bag doesn't feel cheap or like it may tear at any moment. Sun visor folds against the back of the chair and slides easily into the bag.It is definitely comfortable to sit in and the side pouch is the perfect touch to hold drinks, phone, or whatever. The sun visor is easy enough to adjust - my only concern is how it will hold its position on a windy beach day - time will tell and I will update with any issues. The visor is positioned well to provide excellent shade with enough space that I could put my arm up, hands behind me head. This bucket style design seems less "rockable" than it's more rigid counterparts, it seems to naturally want to rest in the rocked back position - but it's still super comfortable.Overall, if you're on the fence about getting a nicer chair like this one - do it. You won't regret it.

This chair is really comfortable to sit it. It has a nice wide seat to curl up in. It’s a bit heavy if you are carrying it around but it is worth the work.
