Great rocker, in fact my wife steals it from me and prefers it over the other quality ones we have. I like the XL version better: 1) I am 5ft 8 and the front of the chair does not pinch the back of my legs. 2) very sturdy. 3) I like the extra seat width as I can spread out my arms on the arm rest and not feel like I am in a movie theatre and not wanting to touch someone. Only complain is the chair sometimes squeaks when rocking as most of them do. Lube it and it goes away. chair does not weigh much and folds nice.

This is a really nice chair. You’re sitting around talking with your friends. You’re just kind of moving back-and-forth and it’s just so relaxing it’s a very comfortable very sturdy chair kind of heavy and it’s kind of big when it’s folded, but it is worth it.

This GCI Outdoor Freestyle Rocker XL is a game-changer for outdoor seating. The extra space makes it super comfortable, and the rocking motion is smooth and relaxing. It feels sturdy and well-built, easily supporting my weight without any wobbling. Perfect for camping, backyard lounging, or tailgates. Folds up easily for transport, and the quality is top-notch. Definitely worth it.

I have been looking for a new camping chair for the past several months. My husband and I like to go camping and also sit with friends outdoors around a campfire. So in the past, I’ve always bought the collapsible chairs that come in a bag that were relatively inexpensive. They usually were under $20. Those types of chairs only lasted about 2 years before they would break down. I decided to upgrade this year to a new chair. I debated back and forth between a collapsible chair, an anti gravity chair, or a rocker. Each type of chair had its own pros and cons beginning with value, portability, use, and construction. By and far, the rocker is the best choice. The GCI Freestyle Rocker is on the more expensive side compared to other chairs, but you get what you pay for. The first thing you notice is that there are no bags that it fits in, which is great because who wants to keep up with a bag when you go out. Next, the chair lays flat until you push down on the seat to set it up. Super easy to do, even a child could do it. The material that the seat is made of is very well made and comfortable to sit on. The frame that holds the seat seems very strong. The rocking action is the best part! You seem to move forward and backward with very little effort. When you choose to stop and get out of the chair, it doesn’t seem unstable at all. The bonus to this particular chair was the attached table. No worries to hook or unhook a table that may get lost. The table is affixed with hinges that seemed very strong. The table has 2 cup holders, a place for a cell phone that included a hole for a charging cord, and a cutout that is probably meant for a wine glass stem. There is also room for a book or plate on that same table. All in all this table has now become a favorite in my household and the chair that all our friends gravitate too when we have social events. I would definitely recommend this chair to others and may even buy some more for when company comes to visit.

This is a belated review. This rocker was purchased about three years ago. I purchased it at a discount as "used" at Amazon. The good:The chair has been steadily used on our deck at home, as a last minute resort for indoor seating, and mostly it has been toted around for camping trips. There has been no trouble with the fabric and the frame itself has been sturdy. I'm 5'9", 200 lbs and the seat is very comfortable. The rocking feature is just fine; it is smooth rocking. The bad:The chair after about a year, started to squeak with rocking. It is recommended by the manufacturer to oil periodically where the fulcrum point is on the rocker. It helped. The squeak also came from the "piston" areas, where the metal meets the plastic; so lithium grease was applied there too. It helped.Unfortunately, the chair reached is demise recently, when the spring in the "piston" broke in half. Andunfortunately, there is no way to buy replacement parts for this chair. This is a shame and a waste of materials in my view, especially knowing the chair can be absolutely repaired by a handy person through parts purchase. The good:This company absolutely stands by its product! They graciously, and quickly replaced the chair (free of charge including shipping) through their lifetime warranty (DO NOT REMOVE THE STICKER UNDER THE SEAT IT HAS A PO# FOR VERFICATION PURPOSES)! They do ask you to destroy the old chair after 14 days of receipt your new product. In conclusion and in my opinion, this chair has made me very happy over the past several years and dealing with the customer service department was a breeze.I would have given it 5 stars but bumped down to 4 because repairs cannot be made by the handy customer.

If you need solid support, especially if you have any lower limb pain, this chair is for you. The seat is solid and it doesn’t sink in but is still comfortable. The rocking is smooth and without sound. Easy to collapse and light enough to carry even if you need a cane or crutches to walk. The color is exactly what I ordered. The only complaint (which is minor still gets 5 stars) is the cup holder is weird. I have a large handled Yeti and I wish the pocket was a bit wider and more secure on the actual post of the rocker. Still a great investment for parents of kids in sports or camping. Also a great buy to sit on your porch in. If there’s a storm, quick fold up and easy flat storage.
