I love this case, it's really spacious, more like a suitcase. Ultimately went with a carry on size, but I can recommend this on all levels. 5 stars solid!!!

The case is a very nice case, but subtract about 1 inch from the height and width measurements and about 2 inches from the thickness measurement. I bought the 1309-03-WPDF case and the useable and removable area of the diced foam is 12" x 8" x 2", not the 13.2" x 9.2" x 3.8" stated size, which is the inside size of the empty case. Gator should know that when someone buys a case with a foam insert, that they want to protect their equipment and need to keep the top, bottom, and perimeter foam lining intact. I bought this case to hold a Shure Wireless Mic System, but it isn't big enough. Sadly, I must return it and buy a much bigger case to fit my equipment.

I use the 22x17x8.2" model as my rack for mobile DJ gear and it is phenomenal. Lightweight but incredibly durable. In fact I tried to drill a small hole in the side to allow for cable running, and it took some patience to drill all the way though. (Be ready to file the edges down if you do this, btw.) The cubed foam is very durable and protective but easy to pull apart for customization. There are TWO layers of it, FYI, so they're not true cubes as much as 3D long Tetris pieces, if that makes sense. There are two locks on the front and two on the side, each with a failsafe trigger to prevent accidental unlatching. Highly recommended if you have tools or musical gear that you want to hook up or store in a durable carry case, but that won't fit in traditional rack mounts.

We use this case for an iPad Pro. It works very well and protects the iPad. The iPad fits at an angle and we lined the case with foam for added protection.

Outstanding quality and design. I am very impressed with this Gator product in that it is exceptionally well made from the tooling of the O ring seal, latches to the profile. The attention to detail - for example, when you open the lid it has a park position which holds the lid from closing.
