This is different than the many gator cases I own. First if all, it feels a bit flimsier perhaps related to the fact that it is only a 2 unit rack our that they are using cheaper materials? Second. There are latches on the inside of the top and bottom caps that I have never seen before. There are no instructions on their use. They slow the process of opening and closing the top and bottom caps which is a drag after a long gig. There are also two included hooks(see picture). Again there is no explanation as to their use. Finally, it has a lock which is unneeded. I wrote to email tech support but they had no idea about any of these issues either. Bottom line, just beware it is different than previous cases.

I purchased this case for a SVT-3PRO and it provides adequate storage for he power cord and speaker cable without disconnecting them. Case covers/caps enclose the rack mounts on the SVT with no issues. Very little additional weight.

Brought this for a Hartke LH500 bass head as carrying two of them in a 4U case gets heavy.The deep version allows me to leave power and speaker cables plugged in when in transitNot overly impressed with the hinges and hooks on the lids but it’s better than an amp with no sleeve.Just brought another one for the back up

I own a number of Gator molded racks in various sizes and depths, purchased from various sources.For my purposes -- holding gear in a home studio and carrying guitar effect processors -- these are more than adequate to the task.

Good case, does what it says on the tin. The only fault was the key lock on the front door fell to bits, but it was easily fixed back on.

I purchased this case to put a computer in it. Gator cases are very high quality and they are very durable. I would not buy any other brand. I also have a Gator 4 space rack case and I have been bringing it to all of my jobs for a good 2-3 years now and it is still holding up very well. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to transport gear around.
