I like that it has handles & a shoulder strap. Very nice rack box. Everything fit perfectly although, I had to remove the feet on my Hartke LH1000 head to be able to match up the screw holes.

Love this case. I have the 3U which I use love for my wireless in ear and vocal processor. Fantastic quality and a lot more sturdy and soli than expected. The only thing I would like to see is feet on the bottom off it for when it’s laying flat. Other than that, better than expected and comfortable to carry.

Needed something for my home office, that was portable and easy to carry. Works great with the front and back flaps and keeps my equipment protected and hidden on my desk. Super sturdy with the rack based system to hold them. Easy to move as needed.

This case houses my 2U amp/multi-effects unit, my 1U power conditioner, and the wireless system for my guitar. It is far easier to take this to a gig (with my lightweight 2x12 speaker cabinet), than carrying the 4U flight case I had before, which weighed twice as much fully loaded and was too heavy to load and unload. I can wear this case over my shoulder and still have two hands to carry my speaker and guitar or another bag.Time will tell as to its longevity, but I am careful with my gear, so given its solid construction, I'm expecting it to last many years.

This is nice sack for racks with a visually appealing and sturdy design. The feet and how they are screwed into the base are nice too. Strong metal buckles for the strap and a smart (and also visually appealing) elastic cord on the front panel for storing "quick access" papers or other things you would place in a sort of "binder".The Bad:- The zipper latches on the "feet" side of the panel are poorly positioned so that they drag against the ground when you set the case down. They are painted black and will look very war-torn quite quickly.- The handles are probably what I'd criticize the most: It's quite obvious there is a plastic sort of tubing sewn into the nylon that are too thick in diameter to provide optimal comfort the most ideal grip to carry the bag. They are also very hard and should have a layer of neoprene around them for proper correction.Almost perfect, but not quite there. I do recommend it on the overall though.

After reading a couple reviews of concern regarding inside depth, I measured my gear and took a chance. Gear consists of Furman SMP EVS-LiFT, ART 6 channel Head Amp Pro, PreSonus Studio 192, and Focusrite Scarlett OctoPre. I replaced the power cables of ART & Focusrite with short ones. For the Studio 192, I attached Velcro to the power pak and its neatly attached and out of the way. The pouch on the side is useful for storing the Furman power cable. Short patch cables rounds out the rig and I’m quite happy. No depth problem. Not enough time spent with this for road worthy review, but like anything, being mindful of gear will repay the user with long use. Some have complained of the shoulder strap... while I’d be tempted to use it, I probably won’t as all that equipment is heavy and the weight alone “could” create a physical issue for the user. I’m content with the handles provided. Other lighter gig bags for cables n such, along with laptop can go over the shoulders.Since I use a laptop with this rig the pouch is “sort of a bother” but nothing to furrow the brow over. Price I thought reasonable.

I was very tempted to give this a lower rating due to the fact all of the holes didn’t line up enough to hold 4 rack mounts. I had an amp that was a duel rack, an EQ that was a single and a FX board that was single. Both of the singles fit in just fine, but the duel did not line up with the second set of holes. Normally rack mounts space out the holes to hold a single or double, but this one didn’t.Since i needed it for a gig last weekend i didn’t have time to return it and get something else i drilled out a second set of holes and tapped them out for the size screws i needed. After tapping the new holes i found the old ones were almost 1/8 of an inch off being able to fit correctly. Is this product well made? YesIs it worth buying? YesWould i buy it again? If i didn’t need it to fit a duel rack mount i would.

This rack bag is very well built. It is much better constructed than the 25 year old Calzone case it is replacing, so I expect to not have to ever replace it. It is large enough to hold full-size boxes, in this case a 2U QSC power amp which is a bit more than 12" deep. Recessed rails in the front protect knobs. Rear panels are easily accessible and there are feet to protect the zippered rear flap. Lots of pockets and very nice rack screws & washers included.I am a professional bass player. I have found that hard, molded racks develop various buzzes over time, which is why I use a soft-covered rack bag. This Gator bag has even improved my tone, believe it or not, because (I think) it is so solid and well padded it doesn't resonate at all. I see that most of my soft cases are from Gator these days. Highly recommended.

I own several Gator products and they all are well built and well-finished. You do pay more, but I've always felt my equipment was well protected. The 2 rack bag is built solidly. The zippers on the flaps are large and high quality and the internal frame seems dimensionally stable and able to withstand a lot of punishment. The mounting frame is well-finished and tolerances and fit are tight.I've owned this bag for over two years and it has been subject to a lot of abuse as well as constant removal and changeout of rack components. It has held up exceptionally well both externally and internally. I almost feel I could stand on it and it would support my weight, even though I'd never try that! For "soft" bags, Gator seems to be the best in my experience. I never worry about my components being damaged, and isn't that what you buy a bag for? This bag is designed well and well-made!
