Works great for my 2008 Honda Civic, they changed the diagram so make sure you use the accurate one. Installing it was a major PITA, I had to buy special serpentine installation and removal tools. That's the fault of the car though, not the belt. Might be worth paying a mechanic to do it.

I got this to change the belt on my old civic as it approaches 100k miles. The fit was perfect and the quality was great, I've always preferred gates belts as I've never had noise or early failures from them.

This will fit a 1.8 L engine on a 2006 Honda Civic EX perfectly. My old belt was already routed in accordance with the modified routing of Service Bulletin 06-059 and 09-007. I have also seen this routing referred to as the "Gates routing". The modified routing is the modified Honda Service Bulletin routing, but Gates also publishes it trying to make sure their customers are aware of it. I don't know if the idler pulley or pivot bolt had ever been changed on my car, but they seemed like they were in good condition, so I only replaced the belt. When compared to the old belt, this belt seemed slightly longer when placed side by side, but it fit perfectly when installed,

It was hard to install on an 8th gen Honda civic by myself, i would recommond having some one help you install, two people install for easier isntalling. Also find a belt diagram of your car before install.

Good quality. Install is a challenge given the limited space to maneuver the belt while releasing the tensioner. My atypical approach: remove passenger side front tire, the plastic splash panel behind the tire in the wheel well for better access to the belt system, and utilize a 19mm box-end wrench for the tensioner (rotate counter-clockwise). Additionally, I slipped a section of 1 1/4" pipe over the wrench for increased leverage because the tensioner spring is very rigid. Once the new belt is wound around the pulley's prepare to compress the tensioner another 25% due to the new belt diameter versus the old, stretched, part. Be patient, it's really quite simple.
