Purchased this to inhibit our 4 year old from turning on the faucet every chance he could. It works to keep him out, but an adult could definitely break the plastic if so inclined. Be aware.

No issues here! These LOTO faucet covers operate smoothly and so do the individually keyed locks. All this kit needs are some tags to be a full compliant set. Either way the supplied gear is of quality and worth recommending. Thanks for stopping by!

If you want the illusion buy this item. The cover was so well wrapped to avoid breakage and tampering but the lock and keys were not wrapped. Since the whole package was cut into, I believe the lock and keys were compromised. Waste of money.

I live in a downtown area with lots of homeless and mentally ill people around so I use this to keep them from being able to mess with my hose. It fits over the knob perfectly and locks in place with a padlock.

This is a great addition to any Lock-Out Tag-Out system as it does not come with locks. You will need to supply those separately. If you already have a LOTO then you likely have a bunch of extra locks.This is well made and serves its purpose well. You could break into this, but that would defeat the purpose.In any case, the price is on the high side as this is a niche product. If you're simply looking to prevent tampering with a tap then this might be overkill.

After discovering hose was turned on overnight flooding backyard, searched for a solution. This works great. I use kid cabinet locks to secure instead of lock with key for easier access.

I suspected that someone might be accessing the gate valve, so I put this lockout on the valve. Even though the lockout is plastic, it still gives me a visual reference that the valve has not been actuated. The price was reasonable considering the cost of someone tampering with the valve.
