DIY a Gasket:
If you have a stock gasket in hands, just cut a new one in exactly same size.
If you don't have a stock gasket, put the sealing side of the engine parts on chosen gasket sheet, then draw the pattern around the edge of the parts and cut the gasket sheet to make the gasket. Also, you can paint the part's sealing side and print it on the gasket sheet, then cut the gasket.

This is quality gasket making material it's nice and durable decently thick works well for a large variety of different use cases. Durable enough to be used as base gasket material as long as it's the same thickness as what you're removing. If you feel like going through the hassle of making your own gaskets this is great stuff

Just made a carburetor gasket for my welder. It uses a 40 horse Continental 4 cylinder gasoline engine. It wound up with some bad gasoline in it and I had to take the carb apart to clean it and when I did the gasket got torn. I was in a hurry so I made a new gasket from the cardboard from the back of a tablet. It was easy to cut and it "worked" but I noticed it wicking gasoline to the outside of the carb. When I saw this package of gasket material on Amazon, I ordered it right away. When I get some free time I will duplicate the gasket on a piece of this material and solve the gasoline wicking problem.

Nice selection of 3 different thicknesses of gasket material. They range from medium to very thick. The sheets are large enough to create several gaskets each, depending on the size, of course.Great for when you forget (or don't realize) you need a gasket and you don't have the time or patience to source a part.

This gasket material comes in three different thicknesses and seems to be pretty sturdy while not being too rigid. It will be very handy for those times when you need a gasket that can't be sourced through the usual channels, or is custom in nature. It's on par with name brand gasket material I have used in the past. I give it 5 stars.

Much heavier material than I expected. I got this to keep in stock for when I need to make a gasket. The material looks fine but it is really thick! Kind of like thick tarpaper rather than regular gasket material. Might be great for industrial gaskets, etc. There are 3 thicknesses and even the thinnest is probably more than you would generally use for an engine or similar, so pay attention to the listing and see if this will be useful for you. The sheets are nice and large and that's a plus.

I ordered this package of gasket material so that I would have some in stock in my shop. In the process of restoring and rebuilding classic cars I often need to make a gaskets that is no longer available. I like having several different thickness of material available, making it easier to make an exact match for the gasket I am replacing. The gasket material itself is fairly stiff but no brittle, it's easy to draw on with a marker and cuts well with a sharp Exacto or utility knife. I have a set of punches that I use for cutting round holes in the gaskets and this material cuts cleanly with the punches. Definitely a worthwhile package of material to have in your shop or garage if you find yourself needing to make your own gaskets.
