These are very easy to install in about 5 min with a flathead screwdriver. They hold up the hood on my gen1 nissan titan just fine. Will update review if they fail prematurely.

They were easy to install. About halfway up they’ll push my hood up with no problem and no issues with them holding it up. Nice and cost effective way to prevent your hood from falling on you.
