Huge size is great and super absorbent for a lot less "spillage." Our dog loved them and we didn't have the nasty smell that the cheap pads seem to have after the first use.

These pee pads are phenomenal! They have a folded plastic lining at the edges, which keeps the pee from going over the edge of the pad. I’ve tried many different brands and types of pads. Even the chew-deterrent kind (which were not). These are really large, absorbent, leak-proof, and my puppy doesn’t chew on them for some wonderful reason. YES!!

We've been buying dog pads for years. From tons of different vendors/manufacturers/sellers.We used to buy some from Costco which were reasonably priced and great, then like all the other brands, they started going downhill and the last few we bought were thin, cheap and horrible. So we tried a bunch more brands and they were also horrible. (They tend to lie about how many layers they have.)I did not really have high hopes for these Gardner Pet pee pads, but it turns out they really are thicker than the others - as in a LOT thicker. Unlike the others where the picture shows a quilted top but they show up with a flat, single-ply thin layer, these Gardner Pet pads actually have the quilted tops that are quite nice. They look exactly like their pictures on the ads here.We are glad to find a decent brand. However, they are quite expensive and this is a problem over time, so we may try to find something a bit cheaper that is still as good as these.

Our pup is a 17 year old Coker/Poo. She is still fairly active, but just can't hold the urine all night. She still tries to go outside,but we are asleep so she goes In the kitched near the door going out. Her favorite spot is right under the coffee pot location so the pad gets stepped on quite a bit, but no tears or snags yet. However a wet spot did get roughed up from her jumping around. But still no leak. I was amazed that she used one of these pads since the first night it was on the floor, and every night since then.. We have been using them about 3 weeks and no leaks so far. Twice the puddle was close to the edge but the blue edge contained the urine so it could be absorbed.The used portsions become somewhat stiff when dry. So apparently the material not only contains the urine, it captures it. We have not noticed any urine odor.I'm starting to slowly move the pad location an inch or so each night and hope she will follow it to abetter location. We ordered more!

I have a 23 year old cat that has dementia- she walks up to the litter box but won't go in...hence the need for these. While she only weighs 4lbs she has kidney issues so she drinks a lot and pees frequently. I have tried MANY different 'super absorbant' pads that never work....immediately soaking through the bottom, or at the least soaking through overnight.....and I should add I got the XLG pads so she isn't peeing just in one spot. Any of these pads should be able to handle her pee but this is the first and ONLY one to do what it actually says. Zero leaks, no tears, no odor and even when she pees close to the edge, the little lip protects any overflow. These are the pads you want and need!
