We used these to make a path from our pool to our porch and they look great but they are not very sturdy. They make a popping sound when you step on them. They have held up so far and still pleased with them.

These plastic pavers are very easy to install. Just clip off the stakes and insert them into the back of the paver. Locate the paver where you want it and press it into place with your foot. If the ground is hard you may want to wait to install until after a rain or hose down the area to soften up the ground. Works great on a slight slope as the spikes keep the pavers in place. Nice large size compared to concrete pavers. Much easier to work with than concrete pavers as they are lightweight and don't require any digging to install. The low profile can be mowed over without damage. Just a great product, perfect when you want to quick solution.

These plastic stepping stones look very real. The plastic spikes are easy to remove and install and keep the “stones” from moving. Although they look real, and they have plenty of reinforceing ribs on the underside, they do not feel like real stone when walking on them. Mine are pressing into the ground the more I walk on them which gives them an increasingly solid feel.

I have about 50 of these garden steps. I got them so I don't have to walk in the water/mud when I go outside to the garbage container or to turn on the exterior faucet. They are fairly expensive, but look good. They are sturdy if installed correctly and put on a flat surface. They come with a very thorough and easy to read instruction booklet. When installing, install on a level surface and if it isn't level buy dirt or sand or get out your shovel and level the area. Don't put them over a hole or dip as your weight may crack them even though they are reinforced on the bottom side. I bought paver sand to level the ground but found I should have bought dirt because the sand compacts so much. They come with 4 spikes each to attach to each of the 4 sides on the bottom and push into the ground. The spikes go into the ground 4". The first batch I bought had larger spikes than the last 2 orders. And the spikes look cheesy now. However, when the spikes are attached, they still hold very well into the ground. Do not put patio furniture or chairs or objects that may punch through on the garden steps. The bottom is reinforced with cross members of plastic in a grid pattern - but the steps are basically hollow. They are made ONLY to be walked on as in a pathway. For me they do what I wanted them to do. They are so much nicer to walk on than the wet dirt and mud I used to have to deal with. Also, I think they look nice. They can be pulled up with a pry bar, hammer, etc. (without damage) and moved if you need to do that.

These look like plastic. They will not go into the ground. The legs have no points to pierce the ground. I have a layer of new soil and they would not go into free soil. I used a light rubber mallet with a piece of towel to gently pound the “tiles” into place and one tile broke. The two tiles I did get in, with rock around packed them, wiggled and tipped when walked on. The legs are very difficult to get into place on the tile. Unfortunately, I can not return, given the broken tile. Do not buy these!

I have never seen worse packaging, I bought these as I was hoping for a quick easy way to decorate. There was so much plastic attached to each stake you need a tool kit just to get them apart. I am not sure why they don't just include a separate bag with stakes. The stakes were so friggin difficult to insert into the tile, you need a hammer and a lot of patience. The prep time to get the tiles ready to put in ground tools me hours (16 tiles). Wanted to love them and they look ok but are kind of cheap looking. Not sure if I will end up keeping them in my garden, very disappointed.

They look very good even without any decorative borders but they are kind of expensive for plastic. It costed me about 150 for my 30 foot pathway. They are easy to install, but they can be difficult to get straight because of where the spikes are. Even if you measure them, they tend to wander off while your pounding them in. So take your time.

I bought 8 of these and honestly I expected a struggle getting them into place but it turned out to be very easy. When I first opened them I was a little concerned because they were so light but they worked great and look even better. I also jumped on them as hard as I could and they held up very nicely. I am not a light person. When you stand on them the texture and the feel actually feels like real rock! Most importantly they stay in place. I even had a really big storm come through last night and to my surprise they did not move at all... overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend these to anyone.

I moved into a condo with a long-neglected back yard last fall. This summer was my time to plant some rosebushes, hydrangeas, and a Japanese maple (most from Amazon, believe it or not)--they still need time to mature (although so far they're all doing well), and it's really hard to grow grass because the soil is so depleted (I WILL get it to work!), and everything still looked kind of sloppy and undefined and muddy. I would have preferred to use real stone, but it would be really expensive, really heavy (good luck getting it delivered!), and hard to put down without hiring someone. I really enjoy the work of doing it all myself.Anyway, these arrived today, and I kind of wove them into a pattern around the two really old fig trees out there. It took me a while to get the hang of getting the spikes in place on each piece, but once I did it was relatively easy to lay out the stepping-stones (it's the one time I've ever wished I weighed MORE than my 110 lbs., because I needed the weight to kneel on them and get them firmly placed in such hard ground). I'm REALLY happy with the result! They are sturdy and really do look like real stone, and they brighten and give definition to my work-in-progress garden. I'm kind of proud of myself for getting it done (I'm 59, so some people think I've got one foot in the grave and can't do this kind of stuff). And I really like the way it looks. I'm going to wait until next spring to decide if I should put a few more down (it depends on my luck with grass/clover/wildflower seeds in the areas not covered by the stones), but this was a good purchase. My fingers do hurt from getting the spikes in, though. But they will keep the stones in place nicely.
