I didn't do any measuring beforehand, but I recently acquired a minivan camper conversion with a bed that folds up into a double-sided bench. Sometimes it's easier to get into the side of the van on my knees when trying to get in while also getting out of my shoes, or to reach something on the other side without having to climb all the way in. This is a removable conversion, so the flooring is original with a few things laid over the metal bits where the chairs used to be. Unfortunately this can make getting in on your knees a bit painful, especially since I am on the heavy side and my knees aren't the strongest.This is the perfect size for me to lay down on the floor of the side door entry and climb in on my knees, or move it anywhere else on the floor that I want to kneel. It tucks well enough into the space behind the sliding door that I can keep it right in easy grabbing distance. It's thick but light and it's so much more comfortable this way. The included gloves were a nice bonus. I can see it having all sorts of other uses around the house and out in the yard too when I don't need it in the minivan. 5 stars from me.

I got this to use when I am weeding and potting up plants in the garden. I figured that with the claims that it was waterproof it would be great for using in my sometimes muddy yard. The thickness seemed like it would protect my knees when I was working in rocky areas or on cement so I was looking forward to how this would help me with my project work.The kneeling pad has not lived up to expectations, I am disappointed with the quality of the foam and the construction. The foam is waterproof on the top and the bottom, but the sides are open cell foam and that just lets all of the water and mud soak in and get stinky. The other issue with the foam is that once it is compressed, it doesn’t rebound it just keeps these depressions in the foam. After the very first use, there are permanent groves in the foam and the foam is more dense in those areas. It is hard to make new grooves in the foam because your knees keep going into the old ones, so you end up feeling sore from staying in the same position the entire time.On the plus side, their measurements do match up to what is described and it is still usable even if the quality is not what I would expect. It is just not as good and functional as it could be.The gloves that were included in the package are cheap, which is what I expected, but I thought that the issues with those was worth mentioning . The fabric they are made of is ok, but the coating is sticky and gummy already and it stinks so much that I had to immediately remove it from my house as soon as I opened the package. You could smell it through the plastic the pad was held in. It would have been better to just leave them out.At the end of the day, this is functional, just not particularly good. It doesn’t deliver, on the promises made in a few ways, but it is not absolute trash, except those gloves, they can go in the trash.

This is the second such kneeling pad we've ordered on the Amazon Marketplace in the past year. Both that pad and this pad are amazing, but this pad from vendor X5mplxpmx easily gets a full 5-star rating because of its outstanding features. If your knees take a beating when doing home or gardening work, you will be thrilled by how this pad virtually takes away the discomfort of those knees working on hard surfaces. The seniors in our household want to give this pad a 10-star rating! Here is what to like:1. Its size is perfect for two knees shifting around during tasks, yet small enough for easy portability.2. The foam material is sturdy, strong, yet comfortably forgiving...and it bounces back to original size.3. It has a textured finish to help ensure that neither the pad nor your knees slip during usage.4. It is waterproof, so you can easily hose/wash off any dirt, mud, dust, etc., after use.5. The vendor even includes a set of very nice, sturdy work gloves.As noted in the photos, we gave the kneeling pad the once over and measured it to ensure that it was indeed the size advertised...and it is. We tested it on the cement patio as we did some yard work. Honestly, it takes away all of the discomfort associated with placing knees directly on the ground or grass or cement/brick treatment. We've also included two photos that compare our nearly identical well-used kneeling pad with this new one. While the same overall size, as shown in the photo, this pad is actually noticeably thicker...to provide even more cushion and knee protection.Best of all, as this review is being written, the vendor features a 10% coupon on its Amazon page. If you are on the hunt for such a kneeling pad, this discount makes this an absolutely no-brainer purchase.

My three existing kneeling pads are all getting pretty old and in one case, it is falling apart, so it was time to get a new kneeling pad. I use them frequently in the garden, in the house, in the garage, pretty much anywhere I might be kneeling and so its nice to have a few. This one exceeded the size of the others and is a substantial chunk of stiff, waterproof foam. I was at first doubtful that it would be much softer than just kneeling directly on hard ground because it was so stiff. But after repeated uses now, I can report that it does give slightly while being very stable and supportive. The addition of the gloves was especially nice. I like having red gloves because it makes them easier to locate when I set them down. I have large hands and they fit me nicely. Can definitely recommend.
