These nozzles are great for multiple uses, especially bathing your dogs outside and watering flower beds! My first one lasted several years. Just bought a new one!

First time I used it I found it leaking on the connector to the hose...replaced the washer and added some PTFE tape...that stopped that problem. Then the orange rubber guard on the front stretched and fell off and won't stick firmly in place anymore. The final straw was copious leakage and sideways spraying despite whichever nozzle pattern I select. The user receives as deep a soak as the plants do! After only 8 weeks of usage! :-(

Had to replace a Hozelock nozzle, with a cracked plastic handle, after1.5 years of use. This new spray nozzle feels heavier and better build than the Hozelock nozzle. As of July 23, it is still working great.

Who knew a garden hose nozzle could bring me so much joy? I recently upgraded from a basic old twist nozzle to this new model with various spray settings, and it's been a total game changer. I'm having more fun playing with my dog than ever before thanks to this well-made nozzle. The easy-to-use firefighter style valve makes it simple to switch between settings without fumbling around. A quick push gives you everything from a gentle mist to a powerful jet stream. My favorite setting is the light mist - it's perfect for gently watering delicate flowers and vegetables without damage. My dog is obsessed with the shower setting! He jumps and plays as I move the gentle spray around the yard. I've never seen him so excited to be sprayed by the hose before discovering this nozzle.Installation was a breeze and the solid construction gives me confidence in its durability. The only thing I would change is adding text labels for each setting on the nozzle barrel itself, rather than just symbols. It took me awhile to remember which icon belonged to each spray pattern.Overall, this affordable garden hose nozzle has provided hours of enjoyment for me and my pup. If you're looking to add some excitement to ordinary yard work and hose play, it's a great investment. The variety of settings and ease of use makes this a 5 star product in my book.

I bought this nozzle as a replacement and it works better than the original nozzle. No leaking and very easy to use. I can even ask my 4 years old to water the garden without a mess:) I'm very happy with the product.

Over the years I have tried types and brands of sprayer nozzles -- including those from popular manufacturers such as Nelson, Melnor, Orbit, etc. I brought them inside for the winter, I changed rubber washers, cleaned them, etc. Each year I would get the same result when I tried to use them in the spring -- they would not work properly or they leaked. This year I did some extended research to find SOMETHING that would even just last through the season.I came across the Redess sprayer and it had good reviews and many features, so I bought two -- one for my front yard and one for the back yard. Unlike most other nozzles I had owned - these screwed on to the hose smoothly and the connection was tight. I could tell that I would not have to "jump through hoops" to fix leaks - and I was right. NO LEAKS - right from the start. I have used them all season (6 months so far...) and the sprayers have never leaked once. The sprayer itself is nice - good hand contour and feel, grippy. The sprayer really has good pressure (provided, of course, that your water line has decent pressure). On the straight-line jet setting I can spray my lawn from about 40 or 45 ft. Actually, most of the 10 different spray patterns are useful. And the rotating ring to change spray patterns is smooth -- not ratchety like that of several more expensive nozzles.Durability -- I have dropped them on a concrete driveway -- no problem. I have left them sitting in 95 degree sun - no issues (*I don't do that often, but once in a while we get lazy...).I buy dozens of products throughout any given year - but I choose only a very few to give a review for. Instead of rushing to review a product after 2 or 3 days of use (not helpful...) I wait until I have really used the product for a while. After 6+ months, I feel that this is a product that deserves commendation. Caring about a hose sprayer may seem silly - but not to those who have to rely on one to do lawn and garden work each season! If you are tired of the endless nonsense with sprayers (especially the limited junk they have in the large hardware outfits) - give the Redess sprayer a try. For $10, you cannot go wrong.

In 60+ years I've used a number of spray nozzles with a number of years owning a car wash. Some I couldn't get rid of fast enough, some I nearly cried over when they wore out. I really like this sprayer. The thumb operated sprayer is just what my injured wrists needed. It took a couple times before I got over the habit of adjusting my grip and extending my fingers reaching for the front lever like most sprayers. After a few minutes the thumb operation seems much more natural and comfortable than the old front lever spray nozzles. I'm not going back to that. The valve design of this sprayer eliminates the old fashion exposed linkage and front lever that can wear out and catch on things. The plastic valve in this sprayer doesn't feel likely to wear out any time soon and it lays flat so it doesn't snag on things. The nozzle is very comfortable in the hand and the spray selection has a positive click at each selection and feels like it will last awhile. I just added a 2nd one to my shopping cart for the other side of the house. I even dropped it several times and it didn't spray me.Will surly give this 5 stars after I test the durability for a summer. After using this sprayer every day for over a week, at this price I don't care if the sprayer doesn't last until next year. I have no reason to doubt it's going to last a good while. It's such a pleasure to use I'm giving 5 stars.I would suggest one simple design change. Reposition the valve assembly so the valve is opened by pushing the valve forward rather than forward to close. It's more logical and that's where my thumb wanted to go every time I used the sprayer. It shouldn't even cost anything to make the change. After spending the mild winter in the garage this sprayer developed leaks at the valve and under where the chrome plated threaded portion meets the rubber coating. I tried several new washers to make sure that wasn't causing the leak. Minus one star.
