Great Product to use if you have hard water! These devices isolated metallic hose connectors and prevent metallic connectors from seizure. Prevents damage to metallic hose bibs.

Simple little plastic gadget which is crucial for me in the yard.My well water leaves deposits that render metal splitters impossible to remove and eventually impossible to use. These plastic splitters are just the thing. They don't last forever but they are not cheaply made, either.I haven't used the push connectors so I can't comment on them. The washers are always nice to have as extras.

We highly recommend this product as it works much better than most of the Y Connectors we have bought in addition to the affordable price. We love these the quality is very good and the price is unbeatable. The dials are easy to turn but the best feature is the dials are farther apart making them much easier to turn especially when the pump is on and the water is flowing, the other Y Connectors in the photo's are so close together and tight even with small hands and oiled they are very difficult to turn! We have a large yard over an acre, we live in no water California and make several trips a day to the Sewar Depot for brackish water to fill our 300 gallon tanks. My husband spent alot of time and effort to set up an elaborate hose system throughout the property to water all of our plants. We use these all over our property. I included photo's to show the difference in size and space between the dials, these are the easiest we have found, they feel well made, easy to turn, with the added bonus of 4 extra hose connectors which we have used to create different size hoses throughout our property, we bought over a dozen. One last point the photo with just 2 connectors shows the black connector which has what I call paddle dials, these are the worst, as the dial breaks very easy rendering them useless!

Be careful not to tug too hard on your hose where it connects to the splitter. Mine easily snapped off at the seal rendering it useless.

This is one solid piece. The nut on top does not rotate so you may wind up with your shut off valves where they’re hard to reach. The price was right and I didn’t double check.
