EDIT:I wrote a very negative review because, while we had no trouble attaching our hose to the spigot of this, we could NOT get the short length of hose (from house to extender) to attach to the back. None of us could. Well finally my son took the whole thing into our local hardware store, with the length of hose we could not make attach.I am VERY embarrassed to say that the hardware store guy attached our hose to it in about 5 seconds. I Very much apologize to the manufacturer for writing such an unfair review. It now does exactly what I'd hoped for: extends a hose length from the very awkwardly placed hose bib in my back yard to this stand, and then provides a spigot for my good hose (copper bullet btw) to be used from. I keep the house hose bib on all summer so because it's in such an awkward place, and there are no leaks. No leaks at the spigot end either.I also love that it has a hose stand too; no hose lying all over the yard!BOTTOM LINE: My original review was true in the moment but I guess we were all really stupid because, as I said, the hardware store guy had NO trouble attaching the hose. This now works perfectly and I regret my first review!Apologies again for my original review.ORIGINAL REVIEW WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE WRONG:Ok, I’m not a hose-bib-extender virgin. I have one in my front yard - the yard butler - it took about 2 minutes to set up and it makes watering my front yard sooo much easier. I simply planted it right next to my front step, attached my good hose to the spigot, and attached a short hose from its input to my house’s hose bib (that’s awkwardly located). I keep the house spigot on all the time (in the summer) but the yard Butler extender’s spigot off (til I need it). There is NO leaking from ANY of the attachments (good hose to yard butler / yard butler to attachment hose /attachment to my house)- water on always and NO leaking. And when I want to water I just turn on the butler’s spigot- Easey peasey. It works so well I decided to do the same thing in my back yard. I love my yard butler but I stupidly figured this contraption would work exactly the same way, except also it has a hose stand, which would be convenient. MISTAKE! There are 2 huge problems:1. We cannot get ANY hose to attach to the back of it. I bought the same short hose that I use with my yard butler- it doesn’t fit. So I bought one seen on the product page. Nope. So I brought a picture of this thing to my local excellent hardware store and bought a third. Still nope. Btw the other ends of all 3 short hose lengths I bought attach easily to my house hose bib, so the hoses are not defective. But none of them fit on the back of this extender. (My good hose fits fine on the front/the spigot end… it is the input attachment that nothing will fit on…) I am lugging this whole PITA thing into the hardware store tomorrow- but why is it so much trouble?2. Even if you do happen to find a hose that fits the input end, the placement of said end was I guess designed by a second grader because it is not possible to screw the hose on without scraping your knuckles on the bar - where the screws are - with every turn! After a few attempts, you might be ready to run this thing over with your car.

This hose stand was easy to assemble, has a fairly thick coating of black paint, and is sturdy after making sure that nuts and bolts are tight. It will be set in the front of my home for a light duty hose that is 25 ft. in length. Time will tell how it will hold up to the elements, but I won't mind repainting when necessary. I purchased "like new" for less than stated cost of "new." Everything was included to build and directions are printed on the box. Although it is pretty easy to figure out as there are four pieces total to hose stand. My one quibble is that hex screwdriver gave out on the last screw I was tightening so I had to dig out my own set and find the correct size.

I've bought at least 4-5 hose products to attempt to keep my garden hose neat, tidy, and out of the way. This product was inexpensive, yet is the best of all the ones I've previously purchased; all the other products were returned for different reasons. I was very surprised when I received this item. It is so sturdy, so well made, and is an attractive addition to our home. This hose stand is so easy to put together, is made of a very strong material, and is very easy to stand in the soil. I suggest making sure the soil is somewhat 'wet' first; this helps the stand go deep in the soil, very easily. When you wind the hose on the hook, make sure to hang the first few 'loops' about 8-10 inches long so the rest of the hose winds and hangs properly. My garden hose is 100 feet long. If I don't wind it properly, the stand falls over sometimes; this is NOT the fault of the stand; I believe the stand works best for hoses 75 feet long or less. This stand is SO great in all the ways that matter and I didn't want to return it. Therefore, I solved the issue of the stand falling over occasionally by adhering the stand to my house. You can also easily attach it to a fence. The style, design, and the supportive structure makes this product so worth the price, which was only $34 when I purchased it in June 2022. The reason why I gave the product 4 stars rather than 5 is because the desciption reads it is capable of holding a 100 foot long hose, and, although it is, it does tip over occasionally due to the weight. However, since the stand is so perfect in all other ways, I'm glad to have solved the minor issue and was able to keep it. I hope this review helps others who have almost given up on finding the perfect product to store a garden hose! This is it:) Anyone who purchases this will not be disappointed! This is an Amazon win!

If you just need a practical way to keep your hose organized, this is it. The design is functional and assembly was easy. The powder coating is so thick it needs a bit of lubrication to join the pieces of the standing pole. Amazingly it came with the two wrenches needed for the hardware. One small problem I hope the the seller or shipper can fix. The ground anchor prongs were not padded and poked through the box and got chipped, defeating the purpose of powder coating. I spray painted the tips prior to installation.

It is a well made product. I have it installed and it holds 2-75 ft. Lightweight hoses in sandy soil here in SC.However, I am terribly disappointed with the bolts that are supplied for the top portion as the two bolts are way too SHORT!I had to go purchase at HD longer bolts for the holes to make it work. Additionally, the holes in the hose holder were too small for the bolts supplied and those two holes had to be re-drilled. Not well quality control!🤔
