The previous baffle I had was thinner material and therefore more flexible for food waste to spread apart and fall into disposal. This baffle is thicker and more rigid which allows the food waste to sit on top of the baffle and must be pushed into the disposal manually with a utensil.It may last longer than the thinner material but I don’t like having to force the food waste through the baffle. 👎🏻

Not the same as Incinerator OEM. Diameter fit is OK but water does not drain as fast as the OEM insert. It backs up.

These tend to wear out over time and I like to replace them ever so often. These fit well in the opening to the disposal

I have a Compact Stainless InSink Erator. One of the best features is the removable splash guard that can be taken out for cleaning. You can't believe the amount of yuck that accumulates on the bottom of garbage disposal splash guards.So, after a few years the splash guard needs to be replaced. This is the one to get. It slips right in and seats firmly. About every two weeks unseat these and rinse off the underside.Oh, one other point. When something falls into the disposal that shouldn't be there, it's easy to remove the splash guard and locate the item that shouldn't be there. It might be a piece of bone or your diamond ring. But you want to easily get it out of the disposal

I am not sure if this product is made by In-Sink-Erator. The upper edges did not fit flush and tight against the medal throat of the disposal, and this allowed small food material to get trapped and not flow down. This is the reason I replaced a genuine brand that lost the tight fit due to age and very hot water.
