I'm very mechanical- you name it i can do it. I bought these because from the pictures they look like they fit the space and style of shelves that i'd like in my garage to go on my back wall. The shelves are just a piece of flat steel thats MIGHT be 1/8" thick steel. Its just bent to make the wall connection. They're not bent evenly. I installed these brackets on the wall with a laser level and the front of the brackets that come 2' off the wall are all wavey like i didn't install them on the wall even. But the laser level and stabila level says that i did install them level. If it wasn't a pain in the butt to take them down, patch the holes repackage them and send them back. Thats exactly what i would do.

Very flimsy shelves with terrible instructions and build quality. The provided template did align with anything on the shelves. After getting the brackets mounted it was a nightmare getting the shelves attached let alone just getting them in place to be attached. Was horribly unimpressed for the money spent.

Great to have in the garage and super easy to install but the instructions sucked. They are built well. No missing parts can fit a lot on them.

Adding to other reviews, these are well made but with further Amazon research there are cheaper options that are just as good. Template is useless, its for Asia, so toss it and just find your 16" on center studs. Anchors and lag bolts are ONLY for concrete! I wouldn't recommend installing just on drywall, you really need to be screwed into a stud. If you do them 16" on center the bolt holes to bolt shelf to bracket will not line up, no problem as when you put something on them they can't slide forward.

Excellent for concrete walls but would be difficult to match up to wood studs due to the metric measurements. I used Tapcon concrete screws(3/16" X 2 3/4") for mounting into concrete walls in my garage and a rotary hammer for drilling. The Tapcon concrete screws have greatly superior holding power then the anchors that come with the shelves. Very pleased with the product but would not use these on wood studs. The template was well made for marking and I have a lazer level for leveling. Easy install if you have the right tools.

Really like these and will buy more for our other garage. I placed these in our three car and have a separate one car. Instructions are hard to figure out and the template they give you is pretty worthless. People say the anchors are not for drywall. They are correct. In the description it clearly says anchors for concrete. Also read that the spacing of the holes doesn't fit the 16" stud distances. Again, not true. I was able to get all of these up in about 80 minutes.

I purchase 4 shelves for my small single car garage. These worked very well. I’m not sure what happened to the reviews, but when I purchased them there were literally thousands of positive reviews. Which is why I chose these over other brands.Anyways, I held onto these for a few weeks because there wasn’t 16 inch spacing on the provided guide (USA) and i debated returning them. Some of the previous reviews said these shelves wouldn’t work for US stud spacing some said they did and provided pictures. I needed no modifications (previous review suggested using 2x4 between studs and mounting shelf to that). I screwed into my 16 inch spaced studs. Placed the rack on and it worked. There’s a bit of give before everything is screwed together. Once each arm is attached to a stud, you can move the arms outward or inward quite a bit. Then place the rack and insert the provided screws. Once done, they are extremely sturdy. I immediately piled a bunch of stuff on them and they’ve held up wonderfully. They also go up relatively easily. If you know what you’re doing, maybe 20-30 min per shelf. Quicker if you have help.
