I've always wanted to put an epoxy coating on my garage floor, but could never work up the strength to empty out my entire garage and pay thousands of dollars to have it done. So I decided to try these tiles to see if I could make a quick change. I have been pleasantly surprised how well they've performed over the last six months. Overall, I would give them four stars and recommend them to anyone looking for the same. Here are the details behind my rating.Quick and easy installation, but get a rubber malletThey go down really quickly once you learn what to do, but I would encourage you not to use your hand to pound them all together. You have to do a fair amount of pounding with your fist or palm to get the tiles to click together and it's much easier to use a rubber mallet. Stepping on the tiles could also work, but you run the danger of misaligning, the attachment points, and bending them backward. I did this on several occasions, and even broke a few off before I got the hang of it, and learned to do it more carefully.Good texture and gripOnce you get the tiles down, you'll see that the texture and grip is quite good. Even when wet, they aren't slippery like others seem to be. The only downside is that you'll need to get a fixed mop to clean them. After the winter months when we tracked in lots of road, debris and salt, I learned that you couldn't simply swiffer the tiles clean. Once I had the right tool cleaning, the tiles was no problem at all.Watch out for direct sunlight and heatI took one star off my review because of the way these tiles react to direct sunlight and extreme heat. If you leave your garage door up for several hours in the summer, where these tiles are in the direct sunlight, they can begin to bow up in certain places. nothing major, but a noticeable bow upward. Not to worry though, as soon as you remove the heat and direct sunlight, they lay back down flat. I'm beginning to believe that this is only something they do in the earlier stages after installation. I believe it's time goes on they will lay more flat even in these extreme conditions. I wouldn't let that worry you because that's the way all plastic items react to heat.Final thoughtsOverall, I've been so pleased with these tiles that I've bought them not just for my entire three car garage but also for my offsite warehouse where I store my RV. They enhanced not only the look of my garage floor spaces, but also the functionality with better grip and tread. I think you'll be really pleased with your decision if you decide to go with these for your garage.

Edit - went from 3 stars down to one. I need to remove them and install different tiles of higher quality that will lay flat. Waves along edge, bubbles in the field. Important to know, left a full half inch on each side the tiles can float. Also, exposure to sun is minimal.Reasonably priced and they snap together extremely well - no gap. Also, they look pretty good but thought they would have more of a shine. The primary issue I see is when they get hot. They lay perfectly flat but I had my garage door open for about 10 minutes and the area exposed to the sun buckled and it looks like ocean waves. Some areas were 3-4 inches above the ground. Hoping they lay flat again when they cool down

Updated review, like others have mentioned in direct sun light these will “buckle” even with room around the perimeter to allow for expansion. I am going to have to lift up half of the floor and put down a strong adhesive to make sure these stay in place.

Used these on our new shed’s floor so stuff like oil or gas from the lawn equip etc doesn’t get on the wooden floor. Took very little time to put down and I’m sure it’ll make the shed last longer and stay cleaner. Just bear in mind that they are 12” squares and I, who am not at all handy, didn’t see any way to cut some down to cover every inch of floor space so I’ve got a couple inches all around the outside walls I couldn’t cover which isn’t a big deal for us.

I love this product! I’ve painted a garage floor before, and it was a messy process. My current garage is 590 square feet, and I was able to install this flooring solo in two days. Hand trucks made a big difference since I had a lot to move.As for the product itself, it’s incredibly easy to work with—it just snaps into place. I started by assembling as many tiles as possible in the center of the garage, parking on them as I went. Then, I moved everything out and finished up. If your concrete is clean and not too rough, you can even slide the tiles to center them as needed. I didn’t use a mallet; instead, I just used my foot in a sneaker. No need to stomp—just place the tile, press down with your weight, and it clicks right in. If something doesn’t fit perfectly, I keep a standard screwdriver handy to pop the plastic back into place.Highly recommended!

Got half way through the job and tiles became incompatible. Had to order second time more. Stain easily. The Amazon suggestion for end pieces don't work. Had to return. Easy to put together. Looks good. But edge finishing a problem. I did about 400 sq ft. When you receive be sure to check each box for compatibility before starting.
