Great replacement rollers. Improved the garage door operation and made it significantly quieter. I would recommend considering these if you need some good rollers.

These didn’t fit my rollers, no fault on the seller. I should have measured the diameter of the shaft to verify proper fit. Will replace just the rollers instead of purchasing these sleeves.

Too small, too thin, just junk. It is though this was just some tubing someone had a lot of and they decided this was a good way to unload it. The seller says to slit the sleeves if they don’t fit. Terrible product.

2 MONTH UPDATE -I had to reduce my rating to 1 star.. after two months with the sleeves on, my garage door suddenly started to pause in random positions only while closing. At first i thought it was the safety laser eyes but they were lined up perfect. I discovered a code on the unit would display when the door malfuntioned - i have a liftmaster with the button arrows on it. Code was 4 up 1 down, translating to excessive resistance when trying to close. Now all my rollers spun fine since i just changed them however a few had no side-to-side play due to the tight fit of the sleeves inside the bracket and two months of dust and dirt since being installed new and some of the plastic wearing off and jamming up inside the bracket. I removed all the rollers and sliced the sleeves off, reinstalled the rollers and problem solved no issues since. I will also mention now that all the sleeves are removed and the rollers are still relatively new (2 months old) i noticed zero diference in noise from having the sleeves. All the noise reduction i had gained previously was indeed just from nice new rollers.Old review-I’m writing this mainly to highlight the installation since so many other reviews seem to have had issues. You can see from the picture the new rollers i used, they were also purchased on Amazon. The fit of the sleeves is very tights so i used silicone grease to slide them on.Of the 8 rollers i added sleeves to i was able to use 6 of them, 2 of the sleeves had to be removed for the shaft to fit back into the hinge. I have no idea how much these sleeves help with noise since i changed the rollers at the same time. However i think putting these sleeves and old worn and sloppy rollers would be a waste of time. New rollers make all the difference but i figured why not do sleeves if I’m already changing them.Also i did not use the retainer clips, i have no idea what purpose they serve. These sleeves are so tight that the only way they are coming off is if they get torn up inside the hinge.

I installed these on all the new rollers when I replaced them. They are a bit snug,, but be patient and work them on. They will make a difference in the long run. These will also assist in the movement being on the ball bearings of the new rollers instead of a steel shaft.

Easy to install. Needed to slit the plastic tubes lengthwise so they would fit onto the roller shaft with scissors. I used new rollers and replaced the old rollers. A great improvement in the noise the garage door made after using new rollers and these plastic spacers on the shafts.UPDATE - AUG 24, 2024. The plastic spacers I had to slit lengthways to get them on the roller shafts have all fallen off. We're back to very noisy garage door rollers. I'm guessing the sellers cure for the plastic sleeves being too small (slitting them lengthways) was just a way of not refunding my purchase. Not recommend!!

Diameter too small. Does not fit standard roller size. Very thin. Not worth the price paid.

The advertising warns to buy the correct size that fits your rollers diameter. And I took a vernier and measured. Ordered the correct once. When I tried to install I could only push the sleeves half way. The material is so thin (and needs to be) that I could not push the sleeve all the way. Ergo I would have to uninstall all rollers to put on these sleeves. Too much work. Way to much. I returned the sleeves and thank you seller, for excepting the return.
