The diamond shaped hard polymer tip provides a true ballistic trajectory. The force of impact drives the diamond polymer tip into the cylindrical jacket material forcing it to expand outward—increasing the diameter of the projectile as it passes through the intended target (mushrooming effect on impact).

Using a couple different pellet rifles with these pellets and I must say, devastating for air rifles. I'm shooting a Beeman single cocker . 22 rifle with scope. Had to mount new scope rings so had to sight it in again. It didn't take but a few rounds to do so at 20 yards. But once I found dead center, the fun began. If you've heard the term 'cutting bullet holes' then you'll understand. My other pellet rifle is a Crosman 1322 upgraded to a 1399 with steel breech and a custom machined 14 inch barrel. This is a cocker and honestly is in need of a seal rebuild. I've had this pellet rifle for years and have shot several different brands, pellet types and grains. These pellets so far are my favorite to shoot. I also shoot the PBA gold plated rounds through both. I'll be buying more in the .177 as my Beeman has interchangable barrels. Hope they got these in that calibre as well. Commonly, when I get pellets shipped in the mail, the lead ones would regularly be dented or bent due to being banged around. I opened these expecting these same and didn't find any damaged pellets as of yet. Well worth the money though.

Consistent quality and extreme accuracy which is very important for rodent control. Used in a Benjamin nitro piston. Best value .22 caliber pellet out there

Rips right through 1 inch wood…

I'm assuming I received a bad batch. Nonetheless, a bad batch is a mark of poor quality control. After ~30 rounds, I have little expectation of hitting a 4 inch target at 20-25 yds (yeah, I really walked this in), even when fired from a Gamo rifle. I fired some rounds at a sheet of plywood to examine the impact, then noticed there were a few pellets with the intact blue poly tip staring straight back at me from the wood. That's right, at 20-25 yds the pellet hit the board backward/skirt-first. (attached image)This is not to discredit Gamo ammunition - I purchased the Terminator version and have been nothing short of impressed. It's cheaper, the rounds themselves exhibit visually superior quality control, and I hit exactly where I was aiming well outside of 25 yds. This is likely why it's unavailable on Amazon. That being said, I was using the Gamo Swarm Magnum, with which you will find your highest accuracy with lighter slugs.

Nice pellets, was hoping the plastic in the Center of the head was blue paint on metal, the weight is ok, but lacks punch it could have, sill ok for the price.
