While I do like the controller and it's design, the way it holds the phone is a bit uncomfortable. I don't really like taking the case off just to connect the phone to the controller but that's how it is. Even if you can connect the phone with it's case on, the controller can't secure it. It looks like it's about to pop the phone out. What I really want the company to do if they are reading this is to redesign the controller so that the phone will fit even with the it's case on. I think this controller is neat with its appearance, the way you can switch buttons, and having the fan (which is pretty loud, something they should fix) but they need to rework on the controller more.

I bought this because it statedni could program the buttons to use in social media. Not true. It won't even show as a mouse/pointer . Is only good for gaming. The cooler fan does get cold. Literally. Condensation and all. So it will keep your phone cool when playing.

First Impressions it looked awesome, felt awesome. The transparent teal colour looks great and the off white buttons and handle match perfectly. It reflects an image of "icey" theme. The buttons are fantastic and clicky, the sticks feel well and roll smoothly. I really do love this product however I find myself very displeased with the seating design. It will fit my old candy bar phones (Note 9, S21, and S23U) fine with a minimal case (case that's 4MM or less so paper thin) or naked, however my Fold 6 which is my main phone now doesn't fit very well due to the Camera sitting OVER the cooling plate in the middle section. I am quite displeased because I have used the X2 Pro with this phone and it just barely fits with the phone still lifted slightly due to the camera where as this doesn't sit properly on the cooling plate at all. I hope GameSir comes out with a model that will fit the Samsung FOLD series phones with a cooling plate one day.I have also tried this with an iPhone 15 and it works fine if you don't have a case on the phone so I can recommend it with iPhones. If you have a candy bar phone, buy this. If not then good luck.

I have had the regular x3 for a couple years now and love it. That said as soon as I saw this one I knew I needed the upgrade. The Peltier cooler works well and seems to be even a little better than the one on my regular x3 and the inclusion of hall effect sticks and the grip add-ons are great for longevity and ergonomics respectively. Similar to the base x3, it's a highly programmable controller that can even be used in "g-touch" mode, which enables key binding for games that don't have native controller support. 10/10 would buy a third time.

The GameSir X3 Pro is a lovely controller, I am currently using it with my OnePlus 12, and it works like a charm. I'll speak on my uses, but also some potential issues.I can't speak to all devices, but I can imagine that the controller will fit many android phones, given mine is on the larger side, although there are likely some devices for which the fit wouldn't be optimal. In fact, you should be aware that if your device is particularly chunky, with a large camera or the like, that playing with the case on is (very very likely) not going to be possible, and you'll have to remove it. I had to do this with my OnePlus 12, and can imagine the same will be true on even some smaller phones.I currently use it for Wii, Switch, and retro console emulation, and it works like a charm after configuring. The size is portable, the device comes with a case, and I love that charging the controller charges your device simultaneously while you game. The input lag is non-existent, and it turns your phone into a gaming system on par with any portable console. My other use for it is with GeForce Now, which I can undoubtedly say has made the experience absolutely wonderful. It automatically works with basically all games I've tested, and playing with it is a smooth and very enjoyable experience.

Just got this for some mobile games and I think it’s great for the games I play, but I downloaded steam link on my iPhone and steam thinks it’s a PlayStation controller and every game I try the in game camera view just constantly spins making games impossible to play on mobile

Got this to exclusively play ZZZ on my phone during commutes. Works like a charm. I decase my phone before using it and the cooler definitely helps keep temps down. I think the Gamesir app recorded something like 32C cooler off as opposed to 18C cooler on in some test runs.Only a couple of caveats...1) Headphone jack doesn't work in DS5 mode. You need to set the device into HID mode, but HID mode isn't compatible with ZZZ so I have to switch it back to DS5(?) mode. Not sure if you can use HID mode on the iPhone at all. Not a huge issue as I can use my Bluetooth audio devices, but a more featured out usb hub/connections would be nice.2) They call the two modes HID and DS5: Not quite clear what they stand for or mean. I presume HID is Human Interface Device and DS5 means the controller is emulating a DualShock 5 controller, but that doesn't seem right either because the buttons show up as Xbox buttons in ZZZ. Maybe HID is better if you connect the controller to Android/Windows?3) Unable to use Extreme Cooling mode despite having 9V/3A adapters. Tested on multiple adapters and battery packs that definitely support those power modes (e.g. 140W apple charger, 65W powerbank). Silent is good enough though.4) XR Glasses unsupported. It'd be awesome if you could plug an XR glasses charging hub into the controller and then run power/XR glasses to the hub, so you could game on something like a Xreal Air or Viture Pro. As far as I'm concerned, my XR glasses charging hub doesn't pass through power properly to the device (in fact has a weird interaction which turns on the Extreme Cool mode but renders the controller unusable)5) Couldn't find details about the included USB-C cable. Would be nice to know what it can support (data, power)All in all, decently satisfied with this product but I'd rather have a version of the G8 that has a built in cooling fan. Definitely better on the hands than the X2S.
