If you are a mobile gamer, this is for you. Bluetooth pairing. Crazy simple to setup with the (finicky at times) Gamesir app when mapping is needed. The MAGIC though is with your Switch or Switch OLED. Then it becomes a literal Game Changer. A buddy thought I had a Legion until he looked again. Had him try BOTW with the controller- loved it. I have always been partial to the Xbox or Switch Pro Controller instead of the joycons attached or in the handheld holder. This is similar in feel and responsive with ZERO delay or drift issue. Easy to disassemble if sticks or buttons need to be swapped or replaced. Even includes extra sticks. Buy It Now. Lol.

Bin absolut begeistert

I use my Oneplus Open to stream xbox games and I looked at a lot of controllers and this one was the best. GameSir seems to make a lot of quality controllers for phones, even a super cool retro one I'd totally use if I had a normal phone so definitely check them out! 10/10! Easy to use, disconnects bluetooth by itself once you take the phone out and turns off so there's no fuss. Huge battery life.I love this controller. I am so happy I have it. If you are trying to decide between other brands/types or this one, I say go this one. I've been incredibly happy.

Pad spettacolare, qualità ottima. La sensazione è di avere tra le mani un supporto premium. Ergonomia, comodità e maneggevolezza perfetti (io ho le mani grandi). Testato su android (s25 ultra) con:- giochi nativi (COD, WZM, GRID) funziona in maniera impeccabile senza lag- emulatori PS2, nintendo, sega, etc idem come sopra.Non è economico ma vale tutti i soldi spesi. Consigliatissimo

Fit and finish are very good. Does not feel cheap. Plastic has a matte finish and textured where it needs to be, so it feels really good in the hands. Buttons and joysticks operate smoothly and are very responsive. Fits my Pixel phone perfectly (even with the case on it). There is also a feature that allows you to "over-stretch" the controller to fit a full size tablet. It would fit a smaller 8-inch tablet without over-stretching it. It also works great plugged into my PC and the extra width makes it very ergonomic. All-in-all a great product!

100 percent recommend for anyone who does any mobile gaming. Great ergonomics (controller is a little smaller than an Xbox controller but about 85 to 90% the size) and utility for mobile gaming and actual comfortable switch gaming.

This is great. I've been using a G Cloud for streaming but my son has taken it over, so I wanted an expandable controller. The trick is that it needed to stretch wide to fit my 8 inch Y700 tablet. I had a G8 Galileo but didn't want to mod it, and had given up on the idea until I saw the G8 Plus, which is made to fit tablets. I love that you can swap the ABXY buttons around, but I'm a little bummed that GameSir doesn't have replacements for sale, or other options like the PlayStation symbols. Bluetooth connects great as soon as I put it on and turns off when I remove it and very little fiddling is needed, super easy to use. I love the feel of all the buttons and triggers, everything is premium. I love it, but do hope to see some faceplates or buttons for sale one day!

To save some people the trouble, I thought I'd write a review addressing my experience with this controller. As my title states, the USB C jack was bad. In my case the actual connection between the cable and the jack was fine, it was the whole jack assembly, that moved around inside the controller. I use mobile controllers on my PC and always with a wired connection. The loose connection would frequently cause rapid disconnect and reconnect constantly until I moved the jack around, but sometimes it wouldn't really be a full disconnect so the controller would constantly send whatever signal was input until the jack was moved. This means if you were having your character walk slowly forward, when the issue happens they keep walking forward and you have to quickly realize that's happening, and move the jack around before your characters walks off a cliff or into a boss room you weren't ready for. Note that removing and reconnecting the USB C cable did nothing. It was only when the jack was moved that the issue stopped temporarily. I did not abuse the item in any way, it seriously did this out of the box, and it was new and sealed, this was not a used or warehouse item.To be fair something like this, I hope is just a one off defect, but I've seen some reviews on other controllers from this manufacturer that stated there were some issues with both wired and wireless connections and I did not want to take the chance.I was actually very sad I had to return this because outside of the issue causing the controller to randomly stop working, it was VERY good. The hall effect sticks are night and day levels of difference compared to any other sticks I've used. Very hard to find on a quality controller and this was SO close.Outside of this my other issues with the controller were more personal preference regarding button placement. The "menu" button (the one with "+" on it) on the right side of the controller is too close to the "x" button. It doesn't look like it from the pictures, but it's very close and very easy to accidentally press "x" while trying to press it. Ideally I prefer for these buttons to be placed between the joystick and the "abxy" section, and likewise on the left side, between the joystick and the d-pad.The other thing I don't like but this is 90% of the aftermarket controllers right now, is the programmable buttons on the handles. I've never had an issue with paddles that sit in BETWEEN the handles, but the ones actually ON the handles, I've never found to be in the right places for my hands and overall it's annoying to have accidental presses when handling the controller in general. These should really be moved to the back of the center of the controllers. It's possible I'm the only one that doesn't like this common placement location, but I feel like I can't be the only one.The item overall seems to be of good quality, it's just the USB C jack, which I suspect a lot of people will not use, but I'm not sure if that may cause issues with charging, which people WILL use.If gamesir can fix the issue with the jack, I'm sure a lot of people will love this controller. I wish I could give a higher rating but a bad data/charging jack, is just not acceptable.

Ok, overall, it's great, good size for big hands.Makes me confident to play games unlike some smaller controllers that just don't end up feeling right.Love that the sticks are swappable, and the fact that they're hall effect, means they should be the longest lasting sticks around. Here's the big caveat, for me. Houston we've got a problem. Many games now are smart enough to look at what kind of controller is connected, even on mobile, which is impressive that companies are putting that much thought into mobile games again. That being said, on the g8+, if you're using an iPhone, it connects as if it's a Playstation controller. I'm sure that's for best compatibility or features or some such, but there's a problem in that. It's got xbox buttons... So when games are smart enough to look at what buttons to display for the prompts and such, now it shows Playstation buttons. I've been a Nintendo and Xbox gamer for the majority of my console gaming life, and while I have some playtime with PS controllers, it pales in comparison with my familiarity of the standard abxy layout. This is far from the end of the world, and some games go above and beyond and let you override the button prompts to match whatever you want, but not all of them..This isn't enough for me to return the controller, but it will irk me until the day I move on to a new controller most likely. The buttons are replaceable as well, so I thought well maybe gamesir will have different buttons to drop in?? Nope, there are some 3d printed ones available, but they look terrible and presumably feel worse. In the end, for the price, it's a good controller, but for a few bits of over missed marks, it's not perfect.
