If you need to make sure your horse is drinking enough and getting their electrolytes this is a great aid. The horses drink it up like crazy

I canβt believe how much my horse loves those stuff. She drinks it within 2 seconds flat. We camp all the time and live in FL so summers are very hot. There are times I really need to keep her hydrated and these have become the most important thing I own for her. I actually carry them in my truck, trailer, and keep them at my horse barn. I donβt go anywhere there are horses around without having them on hand and my horse thinks sheβs getting a special treat every time she has it. Win win!

My new to me gelding goes off water when at a new place. Our first time using this and he drank the entire dose! Iβll be using this anyone Iβm away from home.

This stuff is like horse crack. My guy will down a 5 gallon bucket of water like its nothing when I add this magic powder. His new favorite treat. He gets excited when he hears the hose running now on the prospect that I might be filling a bucket with this stuff.Only regret is that I didn't get the larger pack from the get go

This was recommended to me by a vet friend who gave me some samples to try. My horse is an excellent drinker, uses his salt lick, and sweats normally but not excessively. I give him this at shows and before/during big temperature swings just to keep his stomach happy and hydration up. He loves it so much and gets so excited when he sees his βspecial waterβ bucket. I find the horses especially like it if you put the powder in a dry bucket and fill it with a higher pressure hose because then it gets all frothy and foamy (see photo - happy boy with his cappuccino nose). I wish it were a little cheaper, but as a special treat itβs fine, and Amazonβs price is competitive. Since my horse drinks it readily, has free access to salt, and gets it more as a fun flavor addition to boost water intake than for the electrolytes, Iβll often use just half a packet in a full pail of water or use a full packet in a big water bucket split between two horses, and it usually works just as well this way for horses that like the taste. If youβre using this as your horseβs primary source of electrolytes, youβll quickly go broke, but if you need a pretty foolproof way to boost your horseβs water intake and/or overall hydration levels occasionally in the form of a treat, this works really well.
