My girls (ages 9 and 14) both use this ball every day. They love it to do homework on, play on, get energy out on, play videogames on, etc. It has stayed inflated well. They absolutely love it! Highly recommend this purchase.

I bought this for my Autistic son how is constantly moving. The material is heavy duty, it does come with a hand pump which can be a pain when inflating it at first. It is pretty durable, believe me my kid definitely put it to the test. The first one lasted more than a year and probably would have lasted longer with normal usage. It can support the weight of a adult easily.

I originally bought this for my son to use at school but it works so well I bought another one for home. He gets bad hip pain during his growth spurts and this makes sitting to do his work easier. I discovered these balls with the legs to prevent the ball from rolling away in my sons school. His school has 2 in each class room and the kids all want to use them. They are good for adults too.

This is NOT suitable for a 5'6" adult. It's true diameter, minus the height of the 4in (10cm) legs, is actually more like 21in (54cm). Plus, the legs are utterly useless as they easily fold under the ball when sat upon, even when the ball is completely inflated to its fullest, so it still rolls around like a normal exercise ball and falls too short under a standard desk.If you're shopping for an adult, save yourself the money and hassle of the return process, as I'm about to do, and find one that's the right size.
