Bilstein 4600 shocks require you to reuse some shock hardware. Removing old shacks can be difficult and damage hardware. Do yourself a favor and buy new hardware. It makes installation a breeze.

needed new rear shock hardware as I was trading in my truck and wanted to keep my Bilstein front struts and rear shocks. low and behold, couldn't find the hardware for one rear shock. Amazon to the rescue, looked just like OEM👍

These lil bushings stopped a lil bit of swaying and saved me a lot of trouble by getting me back to OEM specs

Correct fit. it was a pain in the ass to get the nut on since there's not gonna be any threads showing until you're pushing up on your shock pretty hard

It does get better than this. Received on time and waited until I had all parts on hand to replace the mount, bearings, spring seats and boots for both sides of my 1999 Lexus RX300. After dis-assembly of the struts, it took a few try's to line up the spring compressor at the perfect angle to drop everything together and tighten it up. The bearing included with this kit did not fit in the strut mount due to manufacture warping on the bearing seat. I had to use a ball peen hammer to round out the seat in order to make it fit. This mount may have been a knock off version because it did not look like the driver-side Gabriel strut mount I ordered at the same time. The packaging was very odd also. The mount and bearing were wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a box with additional padding. The locking nuts did not have the Teflon insert and one seemed to be used or just a bit dirty. The bearing definitely did not look like a Gabriel product, My recommendation for this is to buy the more expensive version of the same Gabriel part number.

I installed this on my 2003 VW New Beetle GLS 1.9L TDI. So far, it seems to work well. The big rubber mount seemed as beefy as the original equipment rubber mount that I took out. It fit perfectly and went in without a hitch. While taking out and re-installing the front strut assembly is not a huge job, if you're replacing your struts, you should still grab a pair of these so that you can replace them at the same time with no additional effort. My old one had 200k + miles on it and upon removal, I discovered it had been cracked almost completely around the bearing and finally broke when i hit the pot hole on I-40.
