It works really well. Some parts feel a bi cheap, but compared to other car mounting systems it is cheap. All parts seem to hold together nice and tight and you would probably rip the paint of the car before these suction-cups come of. I tested it with a Sony A7IV + 24-70mm f2.8 GMII on a DJI RS3 Gimbal which i mounted on the G-51 using a Manfrotto SuperClamp. (total weight about 3.1kg)One of the ball head connections wasn't working as intended. After contacting the ProAim support I immediately received a new set of ball heads without any questions asked.

Ive used this several times now - the instructions I had to view online - Once seeing them once, I was able to put the kit together and pull it apart whenever I needed to. It comes in a nice case which allows you to store the entire kit which comes in screw-able and connectable pieces. Also you can mount the camera in the car as well as outside the car, to get those super stable shots you see in Hollywood movies.I highly recommend this product for any filmmaker who wants to shoot scenes using a car.

Broken after just two uses, I guess I got what I paid for. It's cheap for a reason. Avoid at all costs.

Had an issue with 2 screws, but I reached out to proaim, and they took care of it right away. Glad to know there are companies that still stand behind there products and believe in making sure the customer is happy. Would definitely buy from them in the future.

I did work a few times already with this gripper. Like it. It does the job. Small stuffs that can always go bad. Like the sustaining cable., part of it is plastic. And that breaks really easy. In my case i don't really mind about this because you can always buy straps somewhere else and use them. Also just 1 of the suction cup screw got a bit loosly but that doesn't affect the ability of still holding the arm to the cup. But for this it gets 4 stars. As i work with multiple camera. (A and B) i still want to buy another 1 in the future.

Used this on the side of a camper through heavy rain and snow on the Alaska HWY. I was surprise how steady the footage was with a Canon 5D IV and a heavy 16-35m Lens. I would recommend.

The suction cups work great. the kit is very sturdy and comes in a great carrying case that has cut outs for every piece to sit in. I attached it to the outside of my truck and stuck a camera on it right away. Stayed super steady on the highway. The price is great for the product you get. You can put it in so many configurations. The possibilities are endless.

My unit arrived today and it looks great.First, the good:1) The unit comes with a nice carrying case that seems reasonably sturdy and has a place to put everything. This is so much better than some of the other products I've bought where it's practically impossible to get everything back into the carrying bag after you've used it.2) The unit seems to be well built. I'm guessing I'm going to get years of use out this.3) The design of the unit is flexible from the perspective of being able to configure it for a great number of mounting geometries, both inside and outside the vehicle.4) The unit came with an extra set of three long rods, enabling the camera to sit really high if you so desire.5) The price for this unit seems reasonable, considering what you're getting.Okay, now the bad:1) There were no assembly instructions in the case. I had to watch YouTube videos and look at pictures on Amazon to figure out how to assemble it. Granted, assembly isn't super complicated, but how much does a single sheet of paper with assembly instructions cost? Hell, I'll create it for you, Camtree, and you can distribute it with your products if you'd like.2) The description on Amazon says, "PROFESSIONAL GRADE SUCTION CUP MOUNT with shock absorbing properties for maximum stability." The mount is definitely professional grade, but it has ZERO shock absorbing properties. Because of that, I'm probably going to have to mount a motorized gimbal (like the DJI Osmo 2 Mobile or DJI Osmo Pocket) on it to keep the footage stabilized while driving.3) The video provided on Amazon by the seller shows a fluid head included in the case. Except it's not. The price of this unit is fair, so I'm not saying that I think the fluid head should have been included at this price and that I feel slighted. I am, however, complaining that I can't find the words, "Fluid head not included" anywhere on this Amazon page. I've got a shoot in two days (a night shoot) and now I've got to rush order a fluid head and hope it gets here before the full moon shoot I'm planning. If the fluid head doesn't fit, I'll be back to knock another star off for the seller not recommending compatible fluid heads.Overall, a great product, but the company's customer-facing communication strategy needs some work.

Unit is solid, works great! One small issue though is the black line used as a safety line to secure the unit . The rachet used is lightweight and easily broken. I will use a small diameter climbing rope instead. I used this on four location shoots; 1) driving through a small old west town, 2) in a rural mountain neighborhood 3) into the Auburn Fairgrounds and 4) along the Truckee River from Squaw Valley to Tahoe City. (I'm shooting a documentary on the Haggin Cup (best condition horse from the Tevis Cup Ride). Footage was steady and solid. These locations are germane to the story line.I also do training videos for a company that specialized in School Bus Drivers. I often need a unit to mount the camera on the bus, both inside and outside to get the shots the Director asks for. This will work perfectly.
