I saw reviews about the gasket.I thought maybe…by now they would have fixed this problem- No!!!Taking out this tiny red thing from it was painful, hard. I almost broke the thing , almost ready to return but finally!!!Here’s the photo of the red gasket I sliced in half

Looks nice and packaged well. I plan on getting another cartridge and trying again with Teflon tape. I followed the directions exactly. As soon as I screwed on the cylinder it completely leaked out of the threads

I couldn't get the hole to puncture the cylinder, as the red gasket was too thick to create a puncture. I lost the red gasket during the chaos, and without it, I wasted two new cylinders, as gas leaked out immediately. I returned the system.As others said, they need to do something about the red gasket.Follow Up…The company promptly contacted me, ordered new gaskets and replacement cylinders. And provided directions on how to use Red Gasket until I receive the proper gasket from China.Excellent customer service. Highly recommended.Thanks, Cheryl for everything!

It's a shame the 1 minor issue overshadows what a great product this really is! The red rubber piece inside is too thick to allow the cartridge to screw in enough to puncture. I had the same issue and the company reached out to me immediately with a video on how to fix it. You can take that red rubber piece out and trim it so that it isn't too thick or, what I did was remove it and replace it with a small rubber washer from a different CO2 kit I had. Once I did that, it works beautifully! I have had so many different CO2 kits, from diy to refillable 5lb pressurized cylinders and this little regulator works just as well as my high dollar regulators on my 5lb cylinders. The needle is so accurate and the DC solenoid makes this a perfect set it and forget it system for nano tanks. 3 weeks in and I'm still using the first cartridge the system came with! It really is a 5 star product with one major issue. I'd love to see the issue fixed so that this little system gets the recognition it deserves!

This is nice and weighted and as the other review said the gasket where the co2 bottle seats into the needle is a little too thick so take it off and rub it on some sand paper or cut some off. Seems to be nice quality vs other options for the price. Our compromise is that I can do what ever I want as long as it’s not too much of an eye sore so a diy co2 generator was out of the question. Very sleek and proportionate to the shallow tank I have it paired with. I did order the tubing from them and I purchased an inline solenoid and check valve so I can set it on a timer. Would not recommend for anything over 10 gal as it wouldn’t make sense to go through the many cans of co2 but I like that they sell the 45g tanks at petco for quick replacements.
