I ordered this, as my quad was having issues sparking. I had replaced the spark plug and the coil pack, but still no spark. Took a chance with this one, coming all the way from the US to UK - but after connecting the two plugs the quad fired straight up from the button.This is an issue I've been having for a while, where the quad would not start unless start button was depressed whilst pulling the manual starter.This product worked great and I had to dial down the idle speed of the quad as the RPMs were way too high now I'd added this unit.Product appears to be well made, it's heavy, solid and works great.

Dealing with a Big Bear unit with a no spark at all condition. Figure it was a 50/50 shot between the stator and the CDI box based on testing. Pulled the trigger on the CDI box first, and boom spark it back. Atv is running back to normal. the FZJDSD unit is a exact replacement on the Yamaha unit from the build quality to the weigh and design setup of the oem unit. Well worth the purchase.
